Is there any confirmation of what they look like

As adorable as they are, they are so useless. I mean I like the thought of having a pet following me like that interview said but you usually can interact with it.

The only info we have comes from the FGTV interview, where they said they will continue with them. No other details.

I'm guessing a little puppy Hot Dog, maybe a little Bashwing type thingy, a small blue fuzzy soda potion monster, and some other double espresso.

they should make the sidekicks look like the ones that aren't getting reposed I think

If they make new Sidekicks they should come out everywhere.

I hope the new sidekicks are baby Camo and Sunburn versions

I just hope they actually DO something in Giants. Their implementation in SSA was lame.

Agreed. I was really disappointed with them in SSA. I mean the figures themselves were cool, but I had just expected more from them in game...

i dont think they should do sidekicks of giant characters. if they did sidekicks of giant characters then they would be the size of normal figures.

True however what about this mysterious Thumpback sidekick (Water already has one)

i think they are doing it by what they think would make the best sidekick, not so much trying to balance elements

True, I mean, Cynder already has four variants, and has a chance to get a Legendary.
Personally, I think those were just attempts at making the Giants as regular Skylanders... They have said that Giants were an old idea from the original game, and also that they didn't actually plan the new Skylanders' designs/bio/etc. until very late into or after the first game.

^ This is a good idea, Nibelilt, but I kind of disagree. I believe that the Giants could have been taken off of the "Elder Elementals" as mentioned in their Story Scroll and that they originally planed for the "Elder Elementals" to be in the original game, hence the mention of them. Judging by the size, appearance, and design of the "Sidekick" versions of Thumpback (and possibly Eye Brawl) seen in the Skylander Giants figure display image, they seem like they were intended as a Sidekick character defiantly since it's half the size of the regular-sized figures also seen in the image. This is my opinion so I'm not trying to accuse you of being wrong or anything.

I believe they wont sidekick-ise Tree Rex, Hot Head, Ninjini and Bouncer, because we kinda already have Stump Smash, Eruptor, Stealth Elf and Trigger Happy/Drill Sergeant...?

^ But Flameslinger is green-skinned so maybe males don't turn blue when they mature such as females ?

Edit: Or Whisper Elf is trueley their child so she was born with green skin like her father O.o?

Did anyone else notice the area with some shades of red and browns behind the Thumpback Sidekick figure in the image? I wonder if it's a Tree Rex Sidekick?
