I just want to know how you are organizing your skylanders like how they look on your shelf ive got 4 shelfs and i dont know how to organize them for when the giants come and ive got legendaries and magic items please help

I have a large, clear Rubbermaid box that I printed/cut out stickers of different skylanders for the sides!! I also have a cardboard dividing layer so that the shorter things (like the portal, sidekicks, adventure pack extras and box of cards/stickers) will fit over the skylanders without crushing them!! lol

I've just got a box that I cut up to make a shelf like thing.
I also have a decorated shoebox.

My idea is to build a shelf for my Giants collection, which I am keeping seperate of my SSA collection. However, after game 2, I will have no more rooom in my game room for Skylanders stuff. I will have to save games 3-1,000,000 in buckets.

If need be - for fun - I may add the 8 non-reposed Skylanders from the first game, to the Giants shelf, to show a complete collection of Skylanders.

^ Yes, I think keeping the Giants collection separate is a great idea too!!

I just put them on top of a chest for now. When Giants comes out I will make groups of different kinds (G2 skylanders, Giants, reposes, lightcores) Maybe if I run out of space I'll find a container. Unless I someday become a hardcore collector I won't have a dedicated shelf/drawer.

I have a space already for them and actuly they will be with my ssa collection

I put their names on a poster paper and traced their bases onto it and colored it the color of their element

I put them in a clear carrying case, and I organize them by element.

Sprocket gets her own case, predictably. Almost everyone else can put a wrench in it and lie on the bench cause I don't wanna make 47 more cases. But I might make some that are really visually appealing like crystals for Prism Break. And maybe a Troll Bomb for Boomer for the heck of it.

In the game box with card artwork stickers on the sides. And no, giants will not be in my SSA box.

I bought a glass display case from Ikea to display my Skylanders. I had a little extra room so I added some of my other things, although that's probably going to change as soon as Giants comes out! lol

No, I don't. That's the best thing about having them inside that glass case! As long as the door is shut, they're nice and clean.

I wish I could say the same for all of my non-Skylander figures outside of the case though... lol.

I have a case like that but I use it to store my Pokemon Zukans and other smaller figures. They've been in that case almost 10 months and I haven't needed to dust them yet.
Pro Housewife tip:
When you do have to dust figures I would recommend putting some Fabric Softener in a spray bottle and use either a microfiber cloth or a micro fiber duster wand, spray the Fabric Softener onto the duster then either wipe the figures (if using the cloth) or pat the figures (if using the wand). Fabric Softener is an anti static and will help prevent dust build up.

I've only had to dust my Skylanders twice this year (they are due another dusting shortly) using this method. The other advantage of using the fabric softener is they smell quite nice . I have heard that you can also use Tumble Drier Sheets to dust, but I've not use that method yet.

Jessie, Cammie, Mr. Freeze and the others will probably be cleared out of there when Giants comes out. I'll probably throw those adventure pack figures in a box too.

Sorry, but it's a custom. Always glad to see another Billy Hatcher fan though. : ) I commissioned a really talented plush maker to make him for me. She doesn't do commissions anymore sadly. He was kind of expensive, but worth it.

That's really cool, thanks for the advice! My Ben 10 figures really collect a lot of dust that sticks to them, I'll try that soon!

with the giant figures, I'll put them behind my regular ones so they don't cover the small ones, I like them ones better than the giants.

I don't display them because i like to play with them. I have boxes with insert trays with 16 compartments so i can fit all 32 into 2 boxes. I also have the same box but with an insert with 6 compartments. This is for my adventure packs. I would upload a picture but i have no idea how.

I took a Skylanders backpack from K-mart and cut out a square piece to stitch in place. This is a Pelican brand case for computer parts.
I use it because it folds up like a suitcase and slide next to my desk out of the way, plus I visit my mom and step dad on weekends, so I bring them over to play with my 7 year old brother. He keeps his in a cheap photo organizer I got him for about $8, which has some slots on the lid to keep the cards and online codes and stuff, and he also covered it in stickers.
This picture is kind of outdated, I have the 4 sidekicks now and keep them in the magical item slot on the right side.
