My priorities are to get the new guys first, reposes later. but If it's one like Doom Sleigh ( ) or Yatamo Death Gun () then day 1 it is. and is best 3 pack.

I can understand why she said that. Me and HomerSimpsonity, my brother, we get allowance based on our age. If she is paying for it, I don't think she would enjoy spending $400 and more. If you are paying for it, do you really have $400 and more in pocket money?

If your wondering HOW I have this money you might want to listen to this:
I saved it. In a BANK. You can open young saver accounts and it really helps you not go spend crazy. I also kinda love/hated the figure shortage because it gave me a chance to save money. Because 2 months after the game comes out it's Christmas, then Easter a couple months later, then in two months for me is my Birthday.

As I've said (on the forums and real life) I am not planning to buy all the figures, but at the same time I am... I'm not sure anymore. :S

This is where it is nice to be an adult and have 2 jobs, i already saved enough to get 2 of everything (including the confirmed and suspected variants).

Im like 16 and have abpart time job were I get paid £30.00 a week I clean for a hour every Monday, Wednesday and Friday evening, it's a sweet deal)
I also do a delivery every month (sometimes every other month) where I get paid quite a bit (50p for one leaflet and normally get about 250 of them, you can do the maths =D)
Im also hoping to get a Sat/Sun job but times are tough right now
It's just about doin odd jobs here and there and puttin up with it

As a parent, I can see her angle in this, so it's down to you to come up with a compromise to win her over. Something that would work for me, was if my kid said they'd work harder at school and their grades improved, or they did more work at home or promised to save X £/$ for every Y $/£ they spent on Skylanders. There's always an angle to work, you just need to find the one that pushes your mother's buttons.

...I really hope your joking. I really hope that you're joking about complaining that you parents won't buy 47 figures (not including varients) for a total of $536 - plus the cost of the game itself.

My parents won't let me get many more figures, they say they are a waste of money, I agree. I don't want them anyway so I don't care.

It's not like the game has enough replay value for over 40 figures, really. C'mon, get like 5-10 and be happy.

My advice...

Screw the reposes. Then only bring them up one you have the new 16 and Legendaries.

I have a bank account and I'm not even allowed to touch it. I get paid for doing chores but I barely get much considering I'm doing chores just about 24/7. And you expect your mum to buy you them. You are greedy. Don't make topics just so you can complain about how other people don't buy you things you want.

Im 22, i live on my own, and i have a full time job with a cell phone company. I also have a dog, and 3 bunnies! So after all that is said and done, I get to buy what ever i want, that i can afford. I'm pretty glad I dont rely on parents to get me stuff anymore. But really after i Turned 13 i was fending for myself if i wanted a game before christmas or something.

So because i have an entire room full of nintendo stuff ive collected, n64 games, and what not. Ive been selling some of that off to save up some spare money for giants. Everything i sell is being saved for release day.
