This is my opinion.

There is way too much new and pointless merchandise these days, including computer accessories and Megablocks. This is a discussion thread for ALL of the new stuff and what you think about Activision's new Skylanders products.

I personally hate it all except the bed sheets. How can I be a geek when a girl comes over?

activision isnt making all the crap stuff, they just sold the license to make it like in febuary i think. so all these 3rd party companys can now put skylanders on all their crap and sell it. so its not really activision doing it. but come on, every movie, cartoon, successful anything has been licensed and put on all sorts of crap.

lucidity, i want the bedsheets now.

This is stuff I want:
-Plushies
-Bedsheets
-One case for EVERY figure (an official one not the Stanley)
-Shelving
This is stuff I don't want but should be made:
-Shirts
-A board game (that lets you use the figures/cards)
This is stuff that shouldn't be made:
-Everything else

i want a damn shirt, but they dont make them in adult sizes. they better make some of those AR shirts in adult sizes, im not gonna go buy kids shirts just for amazing fancy AR stuff.

the "everything else" part is cool, because like, in a year or two after the crap not selling. ill have skylanders coffee mug, key chains, plates and silverware.. you know, for like 1/10th the price of regular ones without skylanders on them.

Right?!?!? If the multitude of figures on the wall and a complete collection of pokemon cards isnt enough those sheets would make it a lock!

Great, now I have to buy bedsheets...

Those sheets (which Id gladly be rolled up in and thrown in the East River Gangland style) are probably the only thing I'm going to splurge on

personally I dislike it all besides the plushies, and the megablocks...everything else...is just boo.
The pillows are kinda rock'n too. Only because I like PILLOWS!

Okay it was cool at first, but they are taking this too far.

When they start making full art vinyl decals for your car then it might be time for an intervention for activision

Yes, heaven forbid a growing franchise gets all sorts of merchandising. I bet you'd say the same thing when Pokemon was the big thing years ago.
