I think it was....Gill who sounds really horrible. I think the water skylanders got a bad batch of people to voice them. (Zap doesn't sound so great either)

George Takei voicing the Arkeyan Leader is a nice addition.

OMG! What happened to Tree Rex's voice?!? Where's Kevin Michael Richardson?!? Why is someone dong a bad Ted Knight impression?!? It's HORRIBILE!!!

Yeah, and they did say in the FGTV interview that they've actually finished the game now - so I doubt Tree Rex's voice will be any different than the trailers we've seen before.

Oh. Apologies. Yeah, Pop Fizz is still Bobcat Goldthwaite. He's not being his usual over-the-top self, but that's the directors call and the script more than his.

However, I DO expect that the voices, once cast, would be the same. The game has been in production for a long time. According to interviews I've seen, they finished with it months ago, I'm assuming before E3 and that trailer (at least June from what I have discovered).

I am a voice actor fan, and follow the industry somewhat. When a character has been well cast, it really adds to the experience. When it isn't? UGH! For example, I think Pop Fizz is expertly cast!

Well, as a voice actor fan, you got to expect that some voice actors providing the dialogue of the characters in tv commercials may not return to voice them in the video games. It's how the media goes.

Like how Zook spoke with an Australian accent in the Blow it Up SSA tv commercial, while he spoke with a Jamaican accent and a different lower voice in the game. And Trigger Happy speaking with a Russian accent in the tv commercials, but spoke with a higher pitch voice in the game.

Thanks Aura24 I'm glad I'm not the only one who misses the Australian accent Zook had I felt it really suited him.

I THOUGHT Pop Fizz sounded like Zed from Police Academy! Good to know it's actually him. That's really awesome.

TFB had finished the game and played it a bunch of times now.... OCTOBER 21 GET YOUR CLOSE TO HALLOWEEN BUTT OVER HERE!

My opinions of the new voices:

Spyro: Sounds the same, but a bit louder.

Trigger Happy: Exactly the same as before, only he can actually speak. EAT GOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gill Grunt: Sounds a lot better than before; although I will misss his quotes "Fins for the Win", "Rub to the gills", and "Can't win against the fin!".

Whirlwind: Sounds alot better, except her giggling is annoying.

Eruptor: I can't say anything......

Drill Sergeant: Same as

Terrafin: Sounds WAY better (it's like Chris was imitating Eddie Murphy), although I wish they gave him a better catchphrase than "It's feeding time".

Prism break: terrible

Zap: Sounds like Spogebob gargling coconut milk or Spongebob on drugs and helium.

Zook: Deeper voice, I liked his old one better.

Stealth Elf: Sounds higher pitched, but her voice is still awful.


Bash: Sounds a bit like Vector the Crocodile from Sonic, he sounds a bit better.

Flameslinger: Sounds exactly the same.

Wrecking Ball: Sounds kinda weird

Double Trouble: 3 words: BOOM SHACKA LACKA!!

Actually Ignitor was voiced by Freddie Winston, who did the voices for most of the other ones too like Trigger Happy.

Again, that's Tree Rex's commercial voice, not his game voice.

I actually like them speaking english, we finally know that
A: what they have in mind
B: what cool catchphrases they're gonna say.

Oh god, Tree Rex's voice is so bad in that commercial. If he sounds like that in the game, he is by far the worst one.

I'm fine with both those voices, I actually like Tree Rex's better.

The devs never expected us to discover their pages, I'm guessing they're still working on them.
