1. i've played several levels of giants with an activision rep at a trade show recently and can confirm for you that characters can switch between both paths without resetting. this is for all of the soon to be released figures, i didn't get to test it with any of the original figures.

They said that it has a very long cable. Like, all-the-way-across-the-room kind of long.

But there are people who just wanna move the Portal to a different spot, like me, it would be tedious to carry the cable as well. I have the PC Portal and it's awful carrying it. The new Portal should have had a REMOVABLE cable, with OPTIONAL wireless USB support out the box.

Makes sense, but the lightcore skylanders will make it's battery life nothing but a wisp.

Still, I would rather have a more mobile Portal with worse battery, IMO.

From the TRU link, I believe ethical are the only S2 in wave 1.

im shure that the activision leak is wave 1.

They showed Wave 1 of SSA by showing the official trailers of the Skylanders within that wave.

I called my toys r us and they said they Still don't have the Battle Pack and that They should be expecting figures till the 16th of October and If it's released on the website, They would have to talk to their manager.

They have S2 Drobot for preorder.

Edit: I see 3 more light core added and that's about it. The pattern seems perfectly clear. Four- Five waves. Why? It just makes sense. Note how in SA waves had very few figures. So, I see the pattern as 1 new Skylander, giant, and Lightcore per wave. S2 most likely 4-5, excluding triple packs.

Activision wouldn't give them review copies of products that weren't coming out for months. I think it's safe to say Pop Fizz, Chill and Fright Rider will all be in Wave 1.
