Hmmm..just noticed today. They pulled the white Whirlwind photo that was the background picture on her page and replaced it with the normal colored one.

Hope someone saved the other one.

Also noticed that if manipulate the urls like I was showing before (ie, go to an element, like Life, and where the name is, type in the missing character. In this case, Camo. Then refresh the page after you hit enter) it displays a "Available on 11-25-12" date for Camo and Warnado. I haven't tried the others yet. It might just be a standard entry though, as all the Giants characters say "Available Soon!" on them.

EDIT: Dino-rang works along with Voodood, Boomer, Wham Shell, Sunburn, and Dino-Rang. Haven't gotten Ghost Roaster to work though.

Yes, last year I could get figs at inflated prices and they were still basically Oz prices, even including shipping cost.

Seriously, though, they're expensive either way. Unless Giants signifigantly increases gameplay value.

I'll probably only buy 1 other Giant because they're so much more expensive here. Just so I have the possibility that, if I die as Tree Rex and I can't complete a level because I only have 1 Giant I have a backup.

I figured TRU would jack their prices higher. I'd say we can expect the figures to be $12.99, LCs being $14.99, Giants being $19.99 and the Battle Packs/Triple being $24.99 just because they do that with almost all of their toys.

The prices should still be the regular $9.99, $12.99, $14.99 and $19.99 at like Walmart and Target. Unfortunately, TRU gets 5 characters that we know of so you'll be racking up over $50 there because of the prices.

I don't recall anyone posting about it, or maybe it was overlooked.

I missed out getting the September Issue of Nintendo Power, so I finally picked one up today. There's a brief article about Skylanders, and it mentions that "all characters will have a specific quest for them" the example given is that Tree Rex's is to defeat 1,000 enemies.

This ties back with one gameplay trailer we saw from a con that had something appear in the corner stating that Tree Rex had defeated so many enemies. So I guess that's what that was all about.

Pretty cool, wonder if there's any sort of reward for doing them? Maybe a bit of an extra powerup?

That was the only part that caught my eye, although I can scan in the article if anyone wants to see it.
