You can pre-order the legendary packs?

If Toys R US allows you to pre-order the legendary pack. I will need to pre-order one for myself

You click on the hot toy list on the main page of toysrus.com. You print out the hot toy list, write your name on it, and write the quantity of the item you want (in this case the new legendary 3 pack; limit 2) and you take the list to them and they put it on preorder for ya.

Come to find out, I was the first person at my local TRU to do the hot toy list preorder, so that means the first 2 legendary 3 packs are mine.

I only chose 2, because of a rumor no one can confirm for me by sharing a link that states Skylanders in Giants can swtich between upgrade paths without resetting them. I don't know why I would believe it, because no one can show me a link where it was stated.

Welcome to Dark Spyro. Everything you neded to know is in the help files located on the left <----

I don't think Legendary Chill, Stealth Elf, etc. will be at other retailers. One, because Activision, and two, there was never word on Legendary Trigger Happy early with SSA. I think like him, those other Legendaries are just supposed to come later and aren't in any of their systems yet.

Look around for Pop Fizz videos. It was in one, and te dev specifically said "yeah, now you can switch between upgrade paths"... They didn't specify which figures can though...

I went to ToysRUs today and preordered (2) Legendary Giants 3-packs using the hot toy list GameMaster78 mentioned. It was pretty painless and now we're guaranteed to get them. Don't need to be first in line. My local store didn't know if the are going to be open at midnight on release day. They said they'll know about a week before release.

Does the hot-list concept exsit in the UK stores?

Legendary Chill is really ugly- sorry Chill!

Slam Bam- Cool!
Ignitor- Awesome, but would have been epic with BLUE Fire!
Bouncer- Blue eyes!! Those will look awesome lighting up.

The screenshot of L-slambam looks like a poor concept art from a ps2 game. Lol. But like I said before, may look better in person

I got the TRU catalog and I can CONFIRM L-Bouncer and the half-price deal is real. He's also an Exclusive.
He comes in a Single Pack like regular Giants. Interestingly, his eyes are actually yellow on his art instead. The eyes and chest are molded blue instead though, so I believe his eyes and chest will light up yellow.
The code beneath him says #771856 so if someone wants to they can just check if he's on the site.

$19.99 for one figure? That seems pretty high.

^ It's not that bad, actually it's somewhat reasonable since a Giant figure is about twice the size as normal ones so $9.99 x $9.99= $19.98 and it lights up so you're not paying too much extra for that feature.

Giants are just $15 in the states!

1. Original standard figures are $15 each here!
2. This, I think may cost more than a regular Giant, as the original Legendary Triple at least in my area cost $30, more than standard.

Yeah, they require a 10% deposit. So, I paid 10 dollars to reserve 2 of them.

I wonder if L-Bouncer will be out on day 1?

^I'm signed up to the UK TRU toys and Video Game newsletters, but due to a bugged system I get the Babies newsletter. TRU just fails at realising not all Toy enthusiasts are children.

well if toys r us prices are to be consistent (who knows right?) giants should be 14.99 everywhere else if they are 19.99 at toys r us. just like how skylanders were 9.99 at toys r us and 7.99 everywhere else (for the longest time then i think they went to 8.99)

Nay, this is the price of a regular figure for us. In fact, I believe that this will be the regular pice for a single Giant everywhere.

As I mentioned last year TRU sell at RRP here in Oz but some chains sell less than that.

For example, if a fig RRP is $12, some places will have an everyday price of $10. Hence, TRU are generally more expensive but not by price hiking.

Legendary Bouncer still not on my areas Toys R Us anyone know if its going to be a day one thing?

Locked in my deposit and pre-order today. Like someone else shared, I also was the first person to use the Hot Toy wishlist.

At first they had no idea how to process the order, then several employees told me that the game wasn't out yet (I'm aware, that's why I'm paying for my pre-order *facepalm*) then they couldn't find the 3-pak in the system (turns out the woman wasn't scrolling down far enough on the screen *biggerfacepalm*), and finally they took my info and money and it was done.

In the employees' defense, though, they were very pleasant with me the entire time and the manager came over to apologize for the whole mix-up. Good people.

Anyone here from the States and able to preorder L-Bouncer?
