unlocks a "battle arena" for pvp. Also works as a super magic item, from what has been released it sounds like it shoots "dragon fire" and does significant damage. There will be several "battle packs" released, each with two figures. As far as we know there is no in game difference between the golden and the standard cannon.

i believe its just a new arena if you look at the pic it says exclusive in game battle arena

In the video it confirms that it is both a new arena, and a attack item. it actually sounds quite powerful.

He references "nightmare mode", and says it is almost essential to use it to beat the game on that setting. This game will be a lot harder it sounds like.

He said experienced adult players using characters that were fully upgraded and leveled up were barely able to beat the game on nightmare mode (paraphrasing). The standard difficulty setting sounds like it will be comparable to this SSA, but nightmare mode actually sounds like a good challenge.

I never really use magic items, but the new arena sounds like a good deal. It also is going to be the only pack with Shroomboom since he is not in wave 1.

The levels are said to be considerably longer. While there will always be ease in the fact that you can just put another skylander on and play, it almost sounds like there will be areas that you can't just "bash" your way through. i am expecting an actual challenge this time around.

Edit: Considering they are the game designers i would expect them to have all of everything unlocked.

I don't think it will be an "attack" item like the Location Pieces. Vault wasn't.
I hope it unlocks something in the 3DS version. The fact VV did nothing really peeves me to no end.



Vault was also free promotional item.
