How many packs did you have to buy to complete the set? I bought my son a box of 50 packs, so I'm kind if hoping he'll have them all in there by the time he's earnt them all.

Also are there foil versions of every card or are some just available as foils?

Ok, I thought I just couldn't ANY packs at all... just like I couldn't find ANY new skylanders for a short period of time

I got 2 boxes and 20 extra packs for my sons and we didn't even complete 1 full collection.

I was in London last week and brought the cards back to the US for my sons. The silver edged cards (all Series 2, Lightcore, and Giants cards) are extremely hard to get. Some packs don't even include a single silver edged card. Which, I think is extremely frustrating, considering these are the cards that relate to the Giants game, which everyone is excited about.

At least my sons are just super excited because they think they're the only kids in America who have them.

Collecting these cards is going to be a very expensive hobby. Plus I have hundreds of random duplicate cards for no reason.

Each of my sons have a collection, so we're missing 10 for one and 12 for the other. Between the two collections there are some cards that we never got at all; like -- Tree Rex, Drill Sergeant, Cynder, Hex, Lightcore Chill, etc.

All the cards we're missing are silver edged cards. What a bummer!
