I don't think the Hot Dog is a variant,It looks like one of his moves halfway through..

^ I meant that it sounds like Ignitor has the same voice actor as SSA, I agree with Jet Vac, I expected a heavier scottish accent like the trailer.

Side note, since they released ALL the trailers this time, it debunks the theory that they release the trailer before their release like SSA. I wish they would just announce the wave lineups and be done with it.

I actually prefer this voice. Also, it looks like his Wow-Pow is a change to the ground slam that also breaths fire - unless you can do that anyway, in which case it has a larger radius - which is what those metal wings are for

Sounds like Spyro's still voiced by Josh Keaton, but his voice is more lively.

And Gill Grunt's voice is the same as his voice in the commercials and trailers.

Wonder if that's Lani Minella's voice they used for Sonic Boom? She said she already gave the character english lines, but TFB didn't add them in with Sonic Boom since she wasn't one of the 16 Skylanders who can speak english in SSA.

legendary,winter, gold, light-up in the dark, light core(version of the new skylanders) etc etc... its gonna be a record of variants in giants, i am sure of it... its only 17 you actually need to buy the giants, new skylanders and that new model spyro. i think also its better going for the legendaries of giants and new skylanders, than getting the regular versions, since they are stronger... (lesson learned here from the first game!)

The only variants I care about are ones that appear different in the game also, ie legandaries, dark, and now punch. The gold, silver, glow in the dark, crystal, etc I could care less about.

So far the only in game variants have been exclusive to the 3DS starter packs and retailer exclusives (TRU thus far). My assumption would be that possible winter Whirlwind, possible mustard Hot Dog, possible dark Ninjini, blue Crusher, etc will be exclusive to specific retailers like legendaries are for TRU.

^ I just hope that they can be bought fairly and not be obtained with an expensive console...

Too much awesome new stuff so I'll just comment on the voices.

I love Wrecking Ball's new voice, but I really don't lik,e Whirlwind. Like Nib, she had one of my fave voices originally too.
I like Bash's new voice too, but again, I prefer the randomness of his former self

Am I the only one that thinks that the Ninjini variant/in-game skin should have been the default colour scheme? It looks WAY better than the regular one. I'd actually be more willing to buy her if the figure had that colour scheme.

If these really are in-game skins, you can be sure that there will be a lot of custom paint jobs on ebay of the alternate colour schemes.
