Wow, I don't know about any of you guys but I suddenly don't want to get Hot Head anymore.... I want SPROCKET sooooooo badly now! I mean I didn't hate her before nor hate her now but I really want her and Flashy of course! Oh and I really like Eye Brawls voice! And Fright Riders voice is fringing BOSS!!!!

Hot head's moves just seem bland. I mean, his moveset is a mixture of Eruptor's and Thumpback's.

And Wrecking Ball's Disco Ball attack actually made me laugh, I am going to buy his Series Two fo'sho now!

Guys, let's not get carried away with posting the trailers on Youtube. Activision might do something a little crazy, like removing the trailers from your youtube channel for copyright infringement and giving you a copyright strike on things like this if they feel they aren't ready showing the trailers. Like how they did with the Features Trailer, they took down uploads of the trailer until they 'officially announced' it worldwide.

Looks like the Skylanders are all animated by the same company who did The Beginning Trailer.

A Ninjini variant: with green skin, red armor and dark brown hair (I think)
A Crusher variant: with black stone and blue crystals
A Whirlwind variant: with silver instead of blue
A Hot Dog variant: with main colors switched, red is yellow and yellow is red (Calling it now that this will be Mustard Hot Dog!)
A Tree Rex variant: with a paler brown, slightly brighter green and blue instead of red (Confirmed exclusive with a PS3 Slim pack)
Punch Pop Fizz: (In the 3DS Starter Pack)

Keep in mind we still don't know wether the first four are completely seperate characters or just upgrades/skins ingame, only Punch Pop Fizz is confirmed to be a totally new one. We also don't know if this Tree Rex variant is different ingame as we've only seen the figure of it.

Not exactly I guess. But any color scheme is better than the original one. If Tree Rex came with a better coloring I'm sure more people would like him, he just looks very plain with the standard one.
Honestly the way to get him isn't so bad for me since I don't have a PS3 anyway. (It's actually the only seventh gen console I lack)

considering some of the appearance changes in SSA after upgrading i think crusher and hot dog are just that. That sounds like variant overkill otherwise.

Orz, that's true. I'll put that in. I keep forgetting since he actually comes with the game, not a console.

I'm pretty sure the other colored Hot Dog is just an upgraded version in the game, unless you have proof otherwise.

We don't know, I was compiling a list of these differences. For all we know this Crusher could be an upgrade as well.
Edit: Mustard Hot Dog has white and yellow instead of red and yellow eyes as well so it's probably a variant.

Crusher variant is most likely an upgrade, I think, because his color scheme wasn't drastically changed.
However, Ninjini and Hot Dog are probably variants because upgrades just don't change all of the character's colors.

I doubt Crusher is an upgrade simply because he has his standard hammer and armor. PLUS his own art- Prism Break never got art for his Prismancer path...

Oh, I didn't see the art. And that makes sense - you would think that he wouldn't just change his colors in an upgrade. It is just that I find it odd that this variant didn't changee the colors drastically at all.

I really hope this means unlockable in-game skins. That would be absolute boss and garuntee at least the next game into my library.

One keeps the grey cobble, with the blue crystals. The other has black cobble with blue crystals.
