What the heck is with all the new Legendary Skylanders?

lightcore legendaries? why didnt i see this coming! i only see them being at toys r us though, i mean they do have the partnership. also dose anyone know about that white whirlwind?

I DID have a count of ALL the different varients, and also a count of ALL the different things that the portal REGISTERS (19 varients not included in that) BUT I HAVE COMPLETELY LOST COUNT WITH ALL THE LEGENDARIES!

Too many variants, originally I was planning to buy the Legendaries again, but may skip it if there end up being so many. Not impressed!

i hope the 3ds version of giants has a area where you can see all the characters like you could in the original game. That way we can see all the legendary's.

See, I think Whirlwind, Crusher, Ninjini and Hot Dog might all be upgrades of some sort. TRU is supposed to have Jet-Vac, Bouncer, Stealth Elf, Ignitor and Slam Bam. I'd guess by now we'd know if they'd have those others though.

So my speculation is that another store is also getting Legendaries, or theres ones going to all stores. This would be a great way to drive sales for the LCs (of which there's ones for Chill and Jet-Vac) which are more expensive.

Doesn't really explain away though what those other 4 are. They seem too..well..not streamlined to be variants. Why only one of each of them? Why wouldn't they have pictures for others if there ARE other characters getting a White Variants, or a Yellow variant?

My friend is most likely getting the 3ds version. I take a look at the screen, too.

I hope they are unlockable in-game skins. Ala Kameo, each character had a default skin, and you could change to another skin. Thermite originally carries around a rock mortar and is red and earthy but his skin makes him a nit modern and the mortar becomes glass with steel. Unlockable skins was actually something I wanted in the original... But I reckon they will be figure variants you need to track.

yeah i think they would rather release figure varients for that rather than in-game skins.

I feel the same way.

Blue Crusher looks better because it actually defines him from Prism Break

i feel like they are just going to start doing varients like crazy know. i mean if they are doing a different crusher, ninjini and more aside from legendary's and a 3ds exclusive its because they whant to make a TON of money and they know that any major collectors of this game (unfortunatley i am one of them lol) will whant them to complete their collection.

Mother of Celestia! I'm gone for a couple hours, and I come back and all this has exploded! I can't believe all the awesome stuff we've got our hands on now! I've so much I want to say! lol

First of all, I know there's other MLP fans on here, so I have to ask, when watching Flashwing's video, did anyone else think that it sounds like Tara Strong's voice coming from the crystal dragon? I'd recognize that voice anywhere! (for those of you that don't know Tara Strong is the voice of Twilight Sparkle, Ben 10, Raven, Omi, etc.)

I can't believe we're getting a L-Chill, it doesn't make sense that we'd get two normal Skylanders for one element... But it's good to see we've finally got an official pic of L-Bouncer. I don't think we're getting more than one L-Jet Vac, I think the two pics are just him before and after upgrades.

I also don't think that pic of Hot Dog is Legendary, though it is awesome. I'm also not sure if that Crusher is a variant or just upgraded. However, the different colored Ninjini is a variant, ala Dark Spyro. I just wonder how they're going to market her...

Ok, I think that covers everything I wanted to talk about... My head is spinning from all this news! I can't wait until Giants comes out! Only 31 days, 1 hour, and 42 minutes until it comes out on the East Coast of USA!

You would be mad if you saw the TRU near me then. It is literally overflowing with Legendaries, both the 3 pack and LTH.

mine has a ton of them now, but like 3 months ago you couldnt find the legendary 3 pack. the employees always scalped them.
