That is Flashwing's actual bio? That is adorable! Bash is my 2nd favorite Skylander (second only to Zap), and Flashwing is one of my most anticipated!

Although I love Sprocket (based on what I have seen so far), her bio is the exact mixture of Drobot's and Chill's bio.

I like Flashwing's bio too. It's a video game and a fantasy after all, you can't expect some Skylanders to have realistic sense on how they came to be and all.

I know that, I've seen a lot of fan shippings within the Skylanders fanbase.

I like Flashwing's bio, end of story, even if it isn't realistic or not what many expected.

I would be expecting a more detailed version of Flashwing's bio in a future Skylanders: Giants book.

Anyways.....I've noticed a few retailers have WiiUGiants listed a a "holiday" release. Did they bump the release back?

Yes...

To clarify, it works to the abilities of a SSA character - level 10 ceiling (even if levelled beyonf that) and upgrade path to SSA regimen.

It is only golden if you buy it at gamestop in the states and I think I heard EB games overseas everywhere else it is just the dragon fire cannon. It is an interesting store promotion.

edit: I think I've mentioned this before it is why stores outside of the exclusive offer have been indicating the presence of battlepacks on launch day and this is the only one that has been announced.

@DummyZ Hmmm that is strange seeing as how it has a pic of S2 Whirlwind on the pack (but has her s1 info card behind her)
Maybe it's just an error and the couldn't find a pic of S2 figure so they put that together just until they get a real pic?

Oh I know, I'm saying though that I spotted Giants on a website the other day that listed the Wii U version to launch during the "Holiday" season. Although I'll have to go remember what site it was on, it was just super weird and I hadn't heard about them moving the release date at all.

Also, very surprised that there's a 3 pack with Whirly in it. I wonder if this means there will also be a 3 pack with Drill Sarge in it (as I was speculating in the other thread, they seem to be keeping those 2 "equal" in terms of releases for Walmart and Target).

I think a potential plan we could see here is that Whirly and Drill Sarge S2 versions will be at the respective stores in a single as their "exclusive" but both stores will have them in the 3 packs as well. That'd drive sales for collectors looking for them in the singles with the sticker (hopefully they'll do that again) as well as people who end up wanting Pop Fizz without getting the 3DS pack.

No, it was confirmed to be released in the launch window - which would be November or December. Personally, I think Activision will want to get it released ASPA in time for Christmas - so a November release seems more likely than December.

No it is gold from Oz EB Games (same company as GameStop). I would presume that the battle pack will be available from other vendors but the gold variant is an exclusive.
