Mwa Ha Ha! Our Toys R Us restocked today, and they had singles of Voodood! I bought two out of the three they had left. They even had singles of Camo, Warnado, Lightning Rod and Zook. Didn't buy them though since I don't need them.

Well I'm new here, so I may as well post here since I'm making my first big Skylanders purchase later today. I'm picking up a set from a local person on Craigslist who bought a lot of stuff for a grandson who didn't like the stuff, so their loss is my gain. I'm paying $125 and I'm getting all of the following, all brand new mind you:

Xbox360 Starter Kit with Spyro, Gil Grunt, and Trigger Happy
Darklight Crypt adventure pack
Pirate Seas adventure pack
Boomer
Sonic Boom
Drobot
Chop Chop
Flameslinger
Stump Smash
Prism Break

Over the last month or so I've already picked up quite a few figures that I've been able to find at stores in my area. Those include: Legendary Trigger Happy, Legendary Spyro, Legendary Chop Chop, Legendary Bash, Crystal Red Drill Sargeant, Zap, Hex, Dino Rang, Camo, Cynder, Double Trouble, Drill Sargeant, and Whirlwind.

I plan on eventually picking up the rest of the SA characters and will probably buy the new Giants game and new figures once they get released. I don't plan on buying the reposed figures, but probably will get the lightcores as well if they're as neat in person as I think they are.

Well today I got my Warnado single pack in the mail along with a Skylanders T-shirt (Came together). And went to walmart and bought myself the ONLY Camo single pack they had. (Twas an anninversary gift for me from my husband lol).

I just received my Terrabite and Whisper Elf, now just waiting to get my last two sidekicks.

I went to my local Best Buy tonight and they randomly had a couple Wham Shells! I bought one and left the other one behind for someone else since I'd been searching for him for a month now.

I've just bought Legendary Trigger Happy and Zap from Toys R US since they were having a buy 1 get 1 40% off on all Skylander characters and accessories. And I went to Gamestop and bought Dragon's Peak adventure pack with Sunburn, Winged Boots and Sparx Dragonfly

Woohoo just picked up a Glow warnado from HMV in the UK .... SCORE!

Got a book --- Skylanders: Master Eon's Official Guide - My son found an error already - top left corner on WARNADO.. shows WATER but says AIR... this put my 12 year old into HUNT mode to find more but none so far...(just lots of bad puns about the stories)

Got a set of Skylander badges. And one has Spyro on it, so I'm happy

Not buying giants because I am not happy with the distribution process. Anyone else feel the same?

I'm still iffy on getting it. The hunt was kind of a drag I pre ordered the golden dragonfire cannon battle pack. But I can still cancel it.

I went to EBGames tonight and it looks like someone had traded in their whole set of Skylanders! Sadly I guess I got there too late as they had pretty much every character used except for Boomer, Zap and Prism Break. T___T Though they DID have an impressive stock of new skylanders too. In terms of singles, they had Lightning Rod, Zook, Hex, Dino-Rang, Camo, Warnado, and a few others that they always have. Though I did buy the used Chop-Chop they had since it looks like it was one of the early ones since it has an absolutely gorgeous paint job. I squeed when I saw how shiny and perfect it was. I wish all of the current skylanders looked as gorgeous as they did at first. : (

Also interesting to note that our local Toys R Us has said they won't be receiving any more shipments of Skylanders until Giants comes out. :'(

Ah so your not the only one? My Toys R Us said they are only going to restock when they need to.

Sams Club has an online deal where you buy a 3-pack (three choices), you get a free single character (about 8 choices). So my nephew ordered Prism Break, Boomer, and Voodood and chose Double Trouble as a single. He already had Prism Break so I gave him $6 for it.

just got a full set thanks to my wham shell coming a month early =] so here he is



im getting my double trouble, whirlwind and drill sergeant for my birthday in a week and a bit so i've now got them all cept legendarys and variants, my sidekicks are on the way even though im in the uk

Today I just pre-ordered my first Giant. Our EBGames has pre-orders available for Giants and lightcore characters, but no specific characters yet. They said that once they get a list of what characters they're getting, they will call the people who pre-ordered and ask what character they want. They will call in order of who pre-ordered first, so the sooner you pre-order the better. The guy at the store said there were only about five or six people ahead of me, so this is probably something pretty recent here in Canada.

You really belive that Gamestop or EB Games will call you when the Lightsource figures come in? Thats like the same chance you have of them not keeping any Wham-shells for themselves. You have got to really be kidding me. I have 21 doubles still, so I think I will just hang on to those and see if they go up in value at all. These Skylanders wow I cant believe people actually think they will get a call from Gamestop and EB games thats a hoot

Not all the Gamestops and EB Games are maggot-ridden boxes of doom like everyone thinks. Mine calls me when a game is coming up, and messages me when they're available. They even keep figure sets they know I want without me asking. So no it is not a hoot.

Yes, and that was yours. While the general consensus is most of their stores is bad, obviously if they're that bad, people won't pre-order or buy from them.

The first Wham-Shell I bought I got it at an EBGames, and they held onto it for me for over an hour and a half while I took transit to get there.

The EBGames in my area are actually all really good. They're polite and helpful, and while there are things about EBGames I don't like, the employees have never been the problem.

Though no, I don't 100% believe them since they themselves were unsure if that's how it worked. Still, I intend to get all 8 Giants, so even if I can't get Bouncer, I'll at least get one of them.

YYYAAAAYYY!!! got my skyladers sidekicks today! gosh that only took 4 weeks...

My friend bought Wham Shell, Double Trouble, and WERDS last night, along with a bunch of sidekick chip bags. Between three Walmarts we saw every skylander.

What is WERDS? I never even heard of WERDS nor do I even know what it looks like

Ah It's the Red Drill Sergeant as I've seen a whole bunch of them once before but had never bothered to grab one of them. Honestly I thought WERDS was a brand new Skylander character

Not all Red Drill Sargents have the "Walmart Exclusive" sticker. They are wort more with the sticker.

Better buy them up because at Christmas time the WERDS will be worth over $1,000.00 along with the other Giants figures.(SARCASIM) I hope people arent stupid to buy from ebay sellers again, because they will just go down in value eventually like the first game.

Odds of finding a GITD Warnado are slim to none, i don't think we will ever see them "stocked" anywhere, just the occasional one here or there.

Blue Bash is a variant. It is a variation of the original Bash character. It may be common in comparison to GITD figures and such, but still a variant.

Since pre-ordering Giants and the GameStop exclusive set, I decided to cave and buy the last Skylander needed to complete my collection; the elusive Wham Shell!! I got him on eBay but it was SO worth it and he is tons of fun to play with!! It's so fun to collect them all, I can't wait for the Giants to be released to start collecting the new set!!! haha

I was surprised to still see skylander frito lay variety packs last week. I had to grab a set. Hopefully the 4 characters are still available this late in the promo.

Latest purchases weren't actually figures, but books. Got the Official Sticker Book and the Novella "Machine of Doom". I actually quite like how cute Spyro is illustrated in the latter.

Just found and picked up a Skylanders frito lay variety pack from Randalls since I never found them in Walmart and Target

I have a friend who runs a video game store. (she does the same as gamestop, just not a chain). And she had some used Skylanders figures, since I had trade in credit I asked to see what she had and nabbed the Gill Grunt she had (4 bucks) not bad considering. So now I have an extra Gill Grunt (Been wanting one ya know but he's still more than 4 dollars on ebay so....)

Just saw six Whammys at once today, thats right SIX! And I just got Warnado and Camo
