I agree. I thought there would be more lights and special abilities. Oh well still buying if I see one.

Where you really expecting some sort of lamp or Christmas light up sort of thing? I would've thought the whole no batteries thing would've indicated that it wouldn't light up as much as they were hyping it up to be.

I love the lights! From seeing prism break I thought he light up a lot!

lol, not exactly christmas tree impressive but i was expecting a lot more than the single light inside my mouth lightcore eruptor unimpressive.

prism break does look the most impressive so far.

To be honest, I'm impressed with the (amount of) light-up parts they've got on Shroomboom, Tree Rex, Bouncer and especially Crusher. Prism Break also looks fine.
Eruptor is kinda disappointing, but... still seems to work fine.

I'm with t7gga, I'm also not impressed on the lightcore figures. If a character only comes in lightcore then fine, I'll buy that otherwise I'll just buy the regular (cheaper?) version. Sure they'll light up on the portal, but they wouldn't look any different sitting on my shelf.

Actually,they would,lightcore characters have different Poses(example:lightcore prism break and series 2 prism break will have different poses)

Agreed with that. The only one that really looks well lit so far is Prism Break. Eruptor is easily the worst if that is how his final lighting looks- just a circle.

I'm more worried about how much battery power it will drain from my Portal of Power.

But honestly, I'm going to be buying a few of the lightcore versions simply because they have nicer figures. The lightcore figure of Hex looks incredible, the lightcore figure of Chill is nicer than the regular one, the lightcore of Drobot looks nicer than the silly series 2 figure, the lightcore Prism Break looks a lot better than the silly series 2 version, and let's of course not forget that the series 2 version of Eruptor looks like a dog chewed it up, so if I WERE to rebuy Eruptor (which I'm not) I'd go with the lightcore version.

I mostly think of the lightcore figures as another option if you don't like the other figure as much.

I understand hex as a avatar, but online, whether it's the internet or xbox live, people always make their avatars females and talk in the mic or something it's so wierd i dont like it...

My rule is, if it shows up in the 3ds version as a separate Skylander (like the Legendary ones) then I'll get it. That means 8 giants, 8 regular & 4 legendary (or however many there are)

I'm assuming that the game won't recognise LC figures in the 3DS version as it's not like they can deal massive amounts of damage when switched in...
