Hey guys! Sorry this one took so long, had my first day of school. I'll be posting a new chapter in SC-Fusion 2 as well so be sure check that out! Also happy birthday to my friend spyro and sonic!
______________________ CHAPTER 14: RECONNAISSANCE, THE ELEMENTAL SOURCES, AND SHEEP Flynn, Cali, Spyro, Trigger Happy, Gill Grunt, Flameslinger, Mario, and Sonic finally returned to the Ruins, where they were greeted by Hugo being "attacked" by a group of sheep. "Back! Back you vile beasts!" Hugo yelled at them. He then threw a book far away from him, which the sheep soon followed. "Honestly, Hugo! They're just sheep!" Cali told him. "That is where you are wrong my dear Cali. These creatures may appear to be friendly, cuddly, piles of fluff. But turn your back on them and they turn into wretched lint-balls with beady little eyes staring at your every move." Hugo explained. "Sorry about the lint-balls Hugo, but we were able to rescue Cali." Flynn replied. "Actually, it was the Skylanders who rescued me." Cali explained. "Oh...oh Cali. Stop with the praise! It's embarrassing. Entirely appropriate...but embarrassing." "Hey! could we please get on with the important things? While you were all away, I found the old blueprints to the Core of Light. The ancients used them when they first built it." Hugo explained. "Wait a second...I thought YOU built the Core of Light." Cali replied. "Well yes and no. Yes, I said that i did...but I really didn't. The Old Core was used to repel the forces of darkness. If we can rebuild a new Core of Light, It should stop Kaos from his wicked plan to rule Skylands. Then we can get focused on getting rid of those villainous sheep! The Far Viewer will help us locate the pieces we need, but this cursed bramble is blocking it! You think you can burn it down, Flameslinger?" Hugo asked. "With pleasure." He replied. As Flameslinger proceeded to destroy the bramble, Spyro, Gill Grunt, and Trigger Happy went to go check on Zap and Dark Spyro. "Hey Spyro, I've been thinking of a cool name for that energy wave I shot back there. How about...Final Flash?" Trigger Happy asked. "Hm...I think that one's already taken. Good idea though!" Spyro replied. "Well shoot! I know, how about, the Golden Yamato Blast!" "That's great!" When went to go check on Zap, he was resting on top of a hill, while Dark Spyro was crying at the bottom. "Hey Dark, what's wrong?" Spyro asked. "It's my pens! Zap got some of his blood on some of them! And now they're ruined." Dark Spyro sobbed. "It's alright. I'll be sure to go ask the portal masters to get some new ones for you." Spyro said, comforting him. "Really? You will? Thank you so much!" Dark Spyro cheered. "Hey, Where's Drobot and Silvia? Hugo said that they were here." Gill Grunt asked. "Don't worry, I'm sure they'll turn up soon." Trigger Happy said. ----------------------------- Silvia and Drobot quietly approached the castle Kaos was supposedly keeping the trapped Skylanders. "You sure this was the place?" Drobot asked Silvia. "According to my information, yes, this is the place. Let's try to sneak through that back door." she ordered. They proceeded to make their way inside the dungeon part of the castle. On the far side of the room, a guard could be seen putting what looked like mind control collars on a ice wolf and an electric dragon among others. "This is horrible..." Drobot whispered "Shh! Someone's coming!" Silvia replied. "Hey Moneybags, be careful with those collars! Even the slightest touch could break them, they're VERY fragile." Glumshanks explained to the guard. "Whatever you say boss!" Moneybags replied. "Extremely fragile...okay, that's enough information. Let's head back to the Ruins." Silvia explained. "But what about the others?" Drobot asked. "It's okay. Now that we know how to destroy the collars, we'll be able to free them whenever we might have to fight them." she explained." "Hey, you over there! Think you can help me" A mysterious voice called out. "That sounds like...." Silvia said. END OF CHAPTER 14 _____________________ Cliffhanger! Who do you think it is? Ask enough and I just might give you a hint!
