I have a box of the cards on order for my son, but he's getting packs as rewards for school work and behaviour, so it might be a while before we open all 50 packs. I should have them by the end of next week and I'll take pics for anyone that wants to see them as we open them.

^ Cool, so they will be out before the game so this gives us something to collect that will occupy us before the game comes out.

This is actually a really good idea for collecting cards and I'm surprised that companies haven't done anything like this more often. I wonder if these cards will be sticker cards similar to the ones that come with the figures.

Hmm. So £4.99 for the starter packs are about $8-ish for us. I guess that's not really too bad compared to the $12.99 Pokemon sets. It all depends on how many cards you get in the starter pack. Cards I can see being at Target in those little tall box things they have past the regular cards that contain various other card series. They should be like a $1.50 or so.

So, what did I miss?

Did you see how on the new spyro art that his wings are different shade of orange (mabey red) and there are two crystalls on his wings.

I would think they'd release a lot more series 2 and LC characters than that

If you combine this with the Amazon leak (including single and triple pack characters) then I think you'll have a more realistic representation of wave 1.

Lightcore Eruptor and Lightcore Prism Break are both series 1.

...I'm queuing up at Gamestation before moving on to Toys R Us if it means getting Flashwing. I think I'll pick up Fright Rider too if this turns out to be true.

Shroomboom and Series 2 Chop Chop comes with the Dragoncannon Battle Pack, not the Starter Pack of Giants...

Shroomboom and chopchop will be sold seperatly coz the battle pack is only available in the usa not uk so they will be single in uk

The battle pack is listed on Amazon - it's not a US exclusive.

They were first listed as exclusives, but when Toy Wiz leaked a load of figures a normal Shroomboom was listed - so it makes me think that the series 2 skylander will be exclusive but not the new skylander. Also because Zap was the only series 2 skylander that wasn't listed during the leak, I think it's safe to assume he'll be exclusive to the other battle pack.

These must be the Dog Tags. I've seen them in a supplier's list RRP GBP£1.50, 24 Packs (per box? It doesn't state), made by Topps or Merlin due for release Nov 2012.

..... Their not making the same giants but smaller for 3DS. Besides why keep 2 giants on the portal for 3DS? The portal is way too big for it to be 3DS. And Giants are not smaller for 3DS. Their the same size.
