He also notes that there's no current plans for a sequel after Giants but notes that Skylanders wasn't designed to be a one or 2 game series; it was meant to be a franchise.

we dont need a sequel, we need a new skylander game that have online multiplayer/co-op and they dont have to make new figurines this time again. they could use all the figurines they already released. it will be fresh and new all over and BOBBY KOTICK know that.

Agreed, they should stop making new figures. it's just a complete waste and plus, the ones out right now are already awesome there's just no need for replacements.

Well, guess I'll go back and play with my new Series 87 Skylanders on my WiiU25.

Exactly why would they drop the figures. Thats why the game did so well.

Dropping the figures would ruin them. The whole thing "Bring your toys to life" not "play a boring, generic video game". The figures are what keeps the franchise alive.

^ It wasn't the first time some game journal site was misinformed from reading the message boards here. One site posted that the fake Fire Dragon was the real Fire Giant, but it was actually fan-made.

^ Really, that's quite strange because it doesn't even match the same figure/texture style as the other Skylanders figures; you can also see the smear marks around the base where it was joined digitally. I guess I was able to tell right away that it was fake due to the fact that I have that same Mcfarlane dragon figure so I guess people who haven't seen any of those dragon figures before might make the assumption of it being the new fire Giant character but JAP28 did list the word "wonder" in the topic's title containing the picture and in the same post with it as, "I wounder if one or more or any of the giants will be Dragons?" and not claiming it as a new Giants character so I'm still unsure how people were mistaken. I guess people mainly go by pictures and choose not to read the contents behind them ( I noticed that a lot of rumors are created and spread that way in the media).

OH MY GOSH!! spyro looks so adorable! I love his new art!

Hmm... Yeah, metal wings. Maybe the new poses do reflect their wow-pow after all rather than their soul gem. I would guess a faster flight - but the diamonds look like they could be used as weapons.

For some reason, I'm thinking of something like Sunburn's 'Phoenix Dash' - but rather than turning to fire he's just thrust forwards and damages enemies with the diamond. Not sure, just a thought.

It probably will beat Yu-Gi-Oh, and Moshi Monsters, but not Angry Birds or Pokemon.

I really like Spyro's art but I'm hating the wings especially since they look painted purple/orange on his Series Two.
