Who's going to camp out/ get the midnight release of the game? I'm getting at midnight.

We don't even have midnight releases here. *pouts*

The upside is I'M a Level 3 EB Member, so I might even be getting this game two days earlier than the Australian release date. Hopefully they will promote it for early release.

Either way though I'm going to get two of whatever I can at the earliest time possible.

Make sure to give us info on Tree Rex and the game, lol!

The 3DS game!

It's real easy to become a Level 3 Member too. Just buy a Gameinformer subscription from them. Level 3 Members can get some games two days early but it's just been Super Mario 3D Land so far for me.

I won't be. I'm not getting it until after I get "Halo 4" and beat it, then I shall trade in Halo for "Giants" < Thats my master plan...cus it works. Sadly Halo gets priority in this case I shall be buying the figures before I get the game though, so I shall not fall TOO far behind on it.

I never go to Midnight releases to anything. I always just pre-order things I really want that way I don't miss out on getting a copy.

I preordered it but I'm still going to the midnight realese to get it ASAP. I NEEEEED DAT TREE REX..

EB Games here in Oz sporadically do midnight releases but I doubt it for this game as the target demographic goes (or should go) to bed early for school the next day.

I won't be camping out for Giants for two reasons...
One, because none of the GameStops near me are doing midnight releases, I'll have to wait until 9 or 10 in the morning when they open before I can pick them up.
And Two, because the GameStop where I reserved my copies of Giants is in a really sketchy area, and there's no way I'd feel safe camping out there all night!

I do plan on stalking all of the places near me that sell Skylanders starting about two weeks before the game comes out just in case any of the stores break the street date for the figures. Considering that there's two Wal-Marts, three GameStops, a Target, Best Buy, and Toys R Us, I should have enough to keep me busy in October until Giants comes out... not to mention Black and White 2.

Well and honestly I doubt many places are gonna make THAT big'a deal over Skylanders Giants anyways. Usually only major "Highly Anticipated" Titles get a major "Midnight Release" Thing in my area; COD, WoW < Stuff like that.
Seeings how "Giants" and all things Skylander is generally aimed at kids, I doubt there'll be a huge line/crowd. Course I could be wrong...who knows.

But it also depends on where you get the game. I know Walmart tends to put things up at 12. But I am getting my copy from Gamestop (Which as I said before I am getting it after I get Halo 4...priorities ya know lol). And even if I did get it on release day, Gamestop doesn't do midnight releases (Only on special occassions do they ever, I do recall them having a Midnight release party in my town for "COD: Black Ops". but thats the ONLY time I've ever heard of them doing this. LOL.

Skylanders doesn't have enough guns, zombies, or bloom to justify a midnight release at GS around here, I'm just going to pick it up in the afternoon.

And even then, it would only be for certain, highly anticipated titles.

I can't see them doing a midnight release for the game at all. I mean, SOME Gamestops do it for Pokemon but if it's not Halo, cowadooty or the like, they won't do that.
