Alright! Nice find! Looks like this is Wave 1..

If it is Sprocket/Sonic Boom/Stump Smash will be the first thing I rip open. I love all the figures in that set. Also looking forward to the Pop Fizz/Trigger Happy/Whirlwind combo. Honestly, the Triple Packs just seem so much better this time around- I hated the matches for the original game with few exceptions(which were pretty much the last Waves' ones).

Since there's no news on a Zap Single I'm gonna have to agree with you and say Zap will be his partner.

Drobot, prism break, wrecking ball, spyro, lightning rod, and stealth elf are also all options.

I don't think it will be any of those just because in the Chop Chop/Shroomboom pack they have opposing Elements- probably gonna do that for all of them.

I have seen the 12 foot moduar layout for Wal-mart's Skylander section when Giant flips over and there is specifically differnet sections for the new and series 2 figures indicating seperate distribution.

The ordering files I have seen also indicate that an initial case shipment of 12 for release date but cases of six afterwards. It's possible that this information is wrong ecause its based on what's been put in the Wal-mart system.

Also is this lineup just plucked from the german amazon leak or have you seen othher confirmation?

edit: Just to add this my information indicates triples, battlepacks as being 3 and giants as being 4. I should also notes it has lightcores being sipped as distribution as 1 which can't be right meaning my other numbers may be wrong also.

Yeah, I am betting it's based on speculation from a mix of commercial promos, the amazon listings, and a couple of other things. I don't see this being official at all.

19 Skylanders packed in cases of 12 makes no sense what-so-ever.

Anytime Triple Packs came out, they were in cases os six, 2 of 3 different Triple Packs.

None of this adds up mathematically, for how many characters are listed as supposedly coming out in wave 1.

Response to GM: The numbers almost work


At this point I suspect we will see a release of 12 series 2 on day one. Shipped 1 to a case. Keep in mind the list contains 14 series 2 singles. The other 2 may be in store day one exxclusives shipped six to a case. After initial release the company will start shipping out cases of six. In a few weeks the oter six will appear in distribution.

I suspect 4 of the new regular figures will be released on day one shipped three to a case. The extra figure may likely be another in store exclusive

If giants are really shipped four to a case it would appear we could get four different ones at launch 1 to a case.

LightCore may be four to a case for the same reason (we know about 4)

also we will probably see another legendary 3-pack at toys r us. there are also rumors of a legendary bouncer.

Itsjustme, I doubt they're gonna pack new skylander singles in their own case, while series 2 gets their own case. I bet anything I own, that series 2 and new Skylander singles are packed in the same box.

SSA did 12 to a case for the first wave as well. When wave 2 hit, it went to six to a case.

The numbers still don't add up, but we know what all is coming out for Giants. They can't add anything the poster doesn't show. They can't just up and say, "Okay, we're adding series 2 Camo to the mix."

The other 8 series 1 Skylanders could be packed in, but then that's 2 less to make two cases of 12 or 4 more to make 3 cases of 6. We all know they don't pack 2 to a box. I don't expect them to change that now.

Something about this just doesn't add up. They still have to find a way to get everyone the 4 adventure packs, seeing as Sunburn and Roaster aren't part of the equasion, and Slam Bam and Terrafin are getting series 2, so how do you destribute the ship, swords, treasure, crypt, hourglass, and elixir. THEN, they have to find a way to get the series 1 in there as well, since this game does tailor to all Skylanders released and being released.

Even adding them all in, there is a problem with the case breakdown of 6 and 12.

This looks just like the Amazon leak - if you count the characters from Triple Packs getting single releases too. If you have a source for this other than the Amazon leak, then that pretty much confirms wave 1.

There will be a TRU legendary pack with L-jet vac, L-ignitor and L-slam bam

There will be a single pack for every skylander and every giant
There also be a battle pack with zap (and maybe hot dog and a battle arena)

At this point the Wal-Mart modualr layout is composed of pegs identified under several formats: tree packs, battle packs, Giants, single figures, series 2, and unidentified figure. The fact that the mod is listed splitting these tings into six specific categories indicates seperate distribution. My sources have steered me wrong before.

This process allows them to flood the stores with the new characters and make more money while keeping series two in distribution. It is smart I can understand why you suspect that the company will not make smart distribution choices, because they have not previously.

Honestly, I don't think we will see any of the initial adventure packs or missing eight distributed trough normal means. You sight precident of activisio already detailing who will be in the lineup and not being able to give us any additional figures. I love how the characters from the legendary triple pack and LTH were prominent on these posters. The pictures of the sidekicks were amazing also. The sad truth is precident demonstrates te exact opposite of the point you were trying to make. TFB and activision has sat on caracters programmed in the game for exclusive release previously and this is before they knew what the demand for retailer exclusives was going to be.

The bottomline is that you might need to expect the unexpected. I suspect we will find the missing eight all have WowPow that can only be accessed by the series 2 editions buried in the game coding early on. The sad truth is the company is learning and evolving from the initial release.

Oh god the Legos. $15 for a Batman themed set that was less than 30 pieces? No thanks even though I love Lego like a child.

Quite honestly, your best deal is in the non- Portal owners pack. The game and tree rex are $59.99, and adding in the new portal, and 2 singles (which is lets say $10) adds up to over $80.

I have a feeling the figs will remain $9.99. Actually, wasn't that what we learned before? LCs are $12.99 and giants are $15.99 with Adventure..I mean Battle packs and 3 packs at $24.99?
