"hey whats your name bird" chica asked

Sybil was so happy that they were all getting along. It took her a while to realize how exceedingly tired she was with all that running around and greeting the newcomers. "Alright now. Listen wolves, if any other new animals arrive, please greet them for me. I am too tired to continue." she commented, slowly retiring to the hollow tree a few yards away she called home...

"Hello..." Toboe said. Be strong. He thought.

"Helllooo! I'm Caille." She said.

"My name's Toboe." Toboe replied.

"and im chica" she said. and then she heard sybil's request and watched her slump away. "if thats the case i think we're better off staying around the beach in case someone does come"

"Don't worry, if someone arrives, the birds around here will let me know, and then I will tell them to bring words to you." Sybil assured, pointing out that it wasn't necessary for Chica and the others to leave the forest...

"oh okay then" chica answered.

Sybil climbed the tree, entered the hole and went to sleep almost immediately.

Toboe went over to the lake for a drink.

"S-s-s--so very ples-s-s-sent," Skaliscin hissed, uncoiling.
Speckles's many feet stamped down repetitively, his head darting side to side nervously.

Kallik walked around the island looking for food.

Sybil slept for almost eleven hours straight. Nightfall was already covering the Island. She began to feel desperate. She never slept so many hours straight. She was someone that liked to tackle the day in the best way she could. "What did I miss!?" she yelled, expecting an answer from anybody...

Kallik shuffled a bush then went into her burrow.

chica heard sybil's yelled and yelled back "not much!!"

Sybil was a little startled. She expected somebody to come to her, not a yell back. That was Chica! She was in charge of the newcomers while she was asleep, so assumed that no new animals came then. Since Sybil slept too much, she decided to take a midnight walk around to see if everything was in order...

chica looked around in case there were last minute new comers then went to her den for some sleep

Sybil, having slept enough, decided to hunt a little, but first, she needed to go to the dangerous part of the island in case somebody ventured there...

OOC: I couldn't find whether that specific type of falcon is either Endangered or Critically Endangered. No matter now, maybe I am being too picky with his, so I will accept your character

There was a nice breeze that night. Although Sybil's species was mostly nocturnal, she was getting diurnal to hang around with her bird friends. She almost forgot how nice night was. Much better than day in her opinions. The stars were mightily bright that night...

Kallik poked her head out and saw the falcon arriving in the distance.

From a sudden calmness to an eerie presence. Sybil thought maybe somebody was following her... but there was no one around. What was causing that?

I wait on the beach and gaze up at the sky terrified for my life.

OOC: Is the orca carrying my characters right by the beach?

OOC: Remember that if your character can't fly or swim, automatically, it is the Orca whale that brings them.

All the birds on the island were asleep, so there was no way either of them could tell Sybil of the newcomer. She, however, had great instincts, and knew that something was quite unusual right now. She wanted to ignore the feeling, but couldn't. She then went to explore the island just in case one of the dangerous predators from the other side were around...

OOC: Bench? There is no mentioning of a bench... if there is, then somebody better change that

"Whoever is there, better leave right now." Sybil threatened, trying to be in a low but clear voice. She never expected to receive newcomers at night, so she was certain that it was probably an intruder...

Kallik went back into her burrow.

"Didn't you hear?! REVEAL YOURSELF!!!!!" Sybil yelled with a thunderous voice that was very clear in that part of island, especially the echo it emitted. Sweet caring Sybil was no more. She was showing an hostile personality, which was kinda of a downfall for her...

I hear an angry voice and launch myself into the air before hiding in the branches of a tree.

chica woke up from the yelling of sybil. she got up and walked to her. "whats going on" she asked

Sybil heard the sound in the thicket of the branches. She was so concentrated, she didn't noticed Chica, and didn't answer her question. The landing gave away the falcon. "If you are one of those mongooses, then you better show yourself!" Sybil said with a stern voice. If whoever was hiding there didn't come out, she was going to come after it...

"you guys got mongooses around here?" chica asked. she soon noticed sybil wasnt paying attention at all

Sybil finally went to her senses, and listened to Chica that time. "Hey wha... how long have you been standing there?" but she didn't wait for the answer. She instead proceeded to answer the question "Actually, animals like mongooses and dingoes live on the other side of the island, but they sometimes come here to hunt, something that I mustn't allow." she then pointed out...

Frightened but not wanting to be in trouble with whoever this is I fly down and bow my head. "My name is Jaerl. I'm sorry if I startled or frightened you."

OOC: What I meant to say is that I don't know if the orca is right by the shore.

Skaliscin slithered down the killer whale's slippery, jet black skin and pushed through the sand.
Speckles slid down as well, giddy with the promise of impending doom, crawling behind the serpent.
"S-s-s-so, this-s-s is-s-s the is-s-s-s-sland?" she hissed, her pupils dilating to adjust to the darkness.
"There better not be any... centipedes here," the velvet worm whispered. If he didn't breath through his skin, he might have been hyperventilating.
"S-s-s-sentipedes? How very ples-s-sent..."

OOC: Oh, alright then

"Take care you two. Find Sybil. She may be around this night. And centipedes you say? There are plenty, but hard to find." the Orca commented with broken words, answering the question. "Bye." he briefly said, turning back, relieved to have the serpent off his back.

Still scared I nod and gaze into her eyes.

Speckles, shivering violently, sank his brown-orange head in the sand.
"C-carrots? No, n-n-not the c-carrots!" he stuttered, his voice muffled, grains of sand flying up.
Skaliscin noticed this.
Oh, I'd hate to have him following me around, she thought bitterly, tail flicking irritatedly, I wonder what he tastes like...

"wolves eat mongoose thats why" chica explained and saw the falcon. "why hello"

"Listen, I didn't mean to scare you, it's just that I never expected to have somebody arrive this late." Sybil explained herself, unknown to the fact that she would receive two more visitors that night "Welcome to Haven of the Missing s." she greeted as usual. "Find yourself a nice home... and don't go on the other side of the island." she warned, and turn to Chica...

"Indeed. The other side of the island is forbidden due to the mongooses and dingoes that live there, but predators like you and Toboe are allowed there." Sybil pointed to the wolf, finally explaining why she was so firm with that rule.

"Well thank you for your hospitality. I take one of my feathers and with it in my beak I present it to Sybil. Still scared but trying to act brave I stand tall and raise my razor sharp talons.

"Well, eh, that is very kind of you." Sybil said turning towards the falcon again, grabbing the feather with her tail. It was an unusual gift, but she accepted it anyway. "Need a tour?" she immediately asked, since the island was more dangerous at night...

I shake my head. "I think it rather late for a tour, beside I can fly and have these, I say showing her my razor sharp talons. However if you want to I would love to see this place in the morning," I say with a smile. With that I bow politely to her and fly into a tree to rest.
