Wasn't there some news on a Vita version on the game? Do we know anything about it? I'm sure they said there would at least be some form of Skylanders on it.

Don't have a Vita but this would encourage me to go and get one, honestly. I think Skylanders could turn out really cool on it.

I think in an article, they mentioned about about a Vita version but it might come later on in the year or possibly next year... they might not make it though

I personally hate the vita. I really hope Vita people can't go around stealing my favorites from stores. you know what then? FINSLAP

Back at Toy Fair, they said they were considered a Vita and Wii U version. They pretty much announced a Wii U version of the game without any mention of a Vita version, so I think it's safe to assume that there won't be a Vita version of Giants.

On a more serious note; it's Sony's new handheld - the successor to the PSP.

Vita is pretty much dead. I've been watching for a few weeks now on their sales numbers. Sony has actually pulled Vita from rankings, probably due to how abysmal its gotten. Kinda sucks because even though I'm a Nintendo diehard, I used to have a PSone and PS2, and the Vita was actually pretty nice from the demos I've tried.

Yeah, the Vita is a good console but the issue is that there weren't enough launch titles, it was too expensive, the cost of memory cards was beyond stupid and if you wanted to play your old PSP games on it you'd have to buy them again from the PSN store and save them onto your memory card that cost you a fortune to buy to begin with.

Casually hides my Vita (which in my opinion is an okay handheld but nowhere near the 3DS)

Oh yeah, it's a good system - Sony just made some bad decisions making it a marketing nightmare.

I haven't seen a vita in stores since launch day..heck they removed the vita section entirely.

I know, they didn't hype it up like they did with the 3DS I mean they had the one ad which was of the different in different scenarios depicting the games and that's it. Nintendo have made the 3DS team up with celebrities and have continued to churn out new ads every month-ish for it
But I have to say that the starter lineup was a bit better than the 3DS one.

i was thinking about getting one when it came out but when i heard it cant play psp games it killed it for me

Nah it can't I think because for the PSP, the had the UMD discs then they scratched that idea before realizing that it was a bad idea.
You can only download some PSP games from the Playstation store... kinda rubbish I know

Another thing that the 3DS excels at, at least it comes with and SD card and has an average size internal storage... oh well, learn from your mistakes Sony

I'm really keen on my Vita - I got it at launch. However I also haven't bought a single game since launch.

I have Rayman: Origins (which is AMAZING on the Vita by the way), Uncharted: Golden Abyss and Dynasty Warriors: Next. Not a single game has come out that makes it worth buying a Vita if you don't have one already.

Annoying that Sony pretty much ignored Vita during E3 as well. Ah well, another £200 piece of redundant equipment. Good thing the games I bought last forever.
