Welp I decided to just paint my extra Voodood gold along with the Bash I posted earlier. Here they both are!



They came out a lot nicer than I expected. I'm thinking that whatever I get for the Frito-Lay promo, I'll end up painting them too! Although..I dunno what colors yet.

What colors should I paint my spare prism preak and spare boomer cuz I've never done this kind of thing before

paint the prism break black, yellow, and gold. as for the boomer, i recommend silver

make prism break into a lavamonster red with orange crystals and yellow eyes
and make boomer an orange troll like in cloud patrol in a jail uniform

All of these are awesome!

I didn't too anything overly drastic, but here we go.



I used a fine tip sharpie and drew along the rims of the shield to give it the illusion of extra depth. Looks great in person. Also added black along the crevices in his skeleton. As for the pupils, only one of those is drawn on there. My Chop-Chop had a weird error on one eye where there was a tiny blob of blue paint right in the middle of his eye, and if I pick at it, it only reveals more blue, so I figure I might as well add the other pupil.

With his new coat of...marker, Chop-Chop is ready to go up against a whole new level of evil!

what glow in the dark paint did you use?

I still don't advocate customs resealed in their packaging as it seems so disengenuous and whether you mean it or not, someone some day is going to mistake it for a variant.

I'll probably make a custom Tree Rex when Giants comes out.

Planning on buying a Swarm when giants comes out, and putting Celestia on the base.

I think Tree Rex will be a popular one to custom paint, especially for those who want console and 3DS... I can see mine now! All bright blue...

One Stealth Sprocket coming right up.

if you mean his stead then maybe a fair amount of skilled people. if you are using a double entendre, then i dont think anyone will do something like that...

Thanks for your kind comments. As with the Series 2 Lightcore Skylanders it works using the RF energy given off by the Portal of Power.

A couple of questions for you customizers...
1) When you are painting a figure a solid color, say a yellow Gill Grunt, do you prefer to hand brush the figure or do you spray paint it?
2) When you're painting, do you remove the green base or do you simple cover it?
3) How do you remove the green base without destryoing it?

Any help would be appreciated!
