Why my local stores (ex target Walmart tru) don't have any of the newer ones ever even though they say they do even went on ship day couldn't get nothing new

Can you explain why you needed to start two threads for this?

It's just what stores get and don't get.They don't control what toys they get. Just keep looking and maybe you'll get lucky.

Alright thanks cuz I'm not getting real lucky I stopped at my local Walmart and got lightning rod so things are looking up

Try looking online, at places like Amazon and even the websites of your local places, they always get random shipments in, I just got a Chop Chop from Gamespot.com

Cool, I know for a fact GameStop.com has Chop Chop and Cynder, either of those are worthy for your collection, I got myself a Chop Chop this morning

Wow that was easy

Looking online is a much better way to shop for Skylanders than in stores. Because you have people on the forum telling you where they're in stock, and you're pretty much guaranteed to get it if you order. Whereas if you look in a store, you only have the chance of finding what you need.
The hunt was rather fun though.

It is really fun to just fill time sometimes just to check for variants

It's also a waste of gas if you're going out specifically to search for Skylanders. Still fun though.
