My reaction to being Arena Tour exculusive

Lol, Reag. I am always on top of Skylanders news. There are kind souls out there who alert me to things via PM on this site, Facebook, or Neogaf - bless their souls.

I mentioned on the thread for Slinger, that my preorder hasn't been cancelled.

So, yes, I have mine preordered. All 5 of them. I am doing things with variants a bit differently now. Any variant that can be preordered, I plan on buying 2 to keep sealed (one as a backup incase something happens to the first), 1 to open for display only, 1 for my son, and 1 for my oldest daughter.

I also heard a rumor that each character in Giants can switch upgrade paths, thus both paths can be upgraded. If this is the case, regular - easy to find - stuff will be bought differently than the first game.

But again, thanks to certain people out there, I am always in the loop on Skylanders stuff.

My real focus at this moment, would be getting my final blasted Whisper Elf in the mail... grrr... I have some updating to do.

Whilst they have don't have the pegging (although it's very easy to obtain one without anyway), all of the boxes are damaged. The plastic is the problem - All of them are warped, from what I've heard.

There's only two photos I can find of the Arena tour Dark Spyro, one is mine (with the warped packaging) and the other from a parent's blog that took a ****e photo. Ask Mr SkylanderT to submit a photo of his to confirm that not all the packages are warped.

Only reposes? So the Giants and new Skylanders can't switch upgrade paths? If not, this paints an odd picture. I didn't plan on getting my kids Giants figures this time, since they barely mess with their original collection.

However, if a character like Shroomboom (non-LC) only comes out in the Golden Dragonfire BP, I will still need 3 of him, but only 1 S2 Chop Chop, thus 1 can go to my kids afterall.

This is the biggest collection I have ever seen. How could you afford all of those?

Oops, read it wrong. Yes, every charcacter can switch upgrade paths.

Game master I see all of those games and skylanders but only see three portals in the boxes. What happened to your portals of power?
