Classic Spyro Figure! [CLOSED]

My idea is that since people whine and complain like little kids that Spyro looks stupid now, what if they released a Spyro figure that looks like he used to, has Sparx on the base, and has the old powers! It would definitely sell out.

As much as this is a nice idea, I doubt it would happen. The devs are ignoring the raging fanbase who are crying over Spyro's redesign anyways.

I never played classic Spyro, but you have a point, Activision has a bad knack at ignoring what would make them money.

This idea is awesome! That would be so great! smilie
I like the Spyro prototyp figure looks better and more like Skylanders Spyro as the final one. I hope the remodeled looks like the prototyp!

-.- you had my hopes up for a second there.

I still can't fully like Skyro's new design. I would love to see a Skyro, classic and TLoS pack.

i usually agree with the majority but now i really think the fanbase should suck it up. i mean seriously, they sent death threats. Spyro doesnt look too bad, its a reboot, an upgrade. the classic spyro didnt exactly look too pretty-pretty. but a classic figure would be great, too bad it'll require different in game coding and count as a different figure, making "fans" complain even more.

the fans would never be pleased, and doing what they want you to do wouldn't end well, they wouldn't learn anything.

faun has always thought tfb, activision, and the entire spyro team have been doing the right thing by ignoring the fans. at this point, spyro fandom is a niche fanbase and an obnoxious one at that. there is absolutely no worthwhile profit to be had for these companies by pandering to the likes of us. they did pander with dawn of the dragon and all it got them was a horde of entitled people who demanded more. it makes sense on all levels that they just ignore this fandom from here on out, especially since, despite the whining within about the series, skylanders is doing better by itself than the entire spyro franchise before it combined.

If you really want Spyros' original powers, fire up the PS1 and play Spyro there, not Skylanders

^ yes.

the insomniac games are faun's favorites and when nostalgia hits, instead of moaning about a lack of it in modern incarnations of the franchise, faun just replays them. at this point, there's no excuse to do otherwise; it's not like the games aren't available for the psn or easily purchased in working condition if one has a ps1 or ps2 to play them on.

yeah, when games like mass attack and epic yarn went into kirby's collection, i didn't cry about it, i played them, then judged them. they sucked, but i still didnt complain, i just got my old kirby games out and played THEM.

Gotta disagree, with Mass Attack. MA was a pretty interesting spin, for the great pink one. Epic Yawn, however, gave me it's namesake.... It WAS a epic yawn. A total snoozefest.

hm, i used te word "sucked" because they differ too much from the original game, it was easier for people to understand if they dont play kirby games. but epic yarn was pretty boring, didnt even bother beating it. and mass attack had me stuck on the level with the giant kirby-eating puff clouds. but it was enjoyable, well, not being devoured, the game was.
