Hey what is the game without cosmetics. I think the new doodad breakables make a huge difference -- bust apart a sand castle --- kick a gnome through the air (except, I can't identify the face on that gnome--is it a cyclops?)

Love the picture, Centaurion, but you missed Undead.

My only complaint is the Fire Theme ones blend in too much with the ground.

Tech and Earth are my favorite. That barrel on Tech has a nice explosion.

Also enjoying the new objectives except

- can't get the "say HELLO! to two players to go off EDIT: have to use the HELLO... and choose a player from the list! it was easy

- have an objective to expand my skyland which will not happen until they get one > 7 with water on it

- hoping the objective that says play a game for two days in a row is not to be taken literally... EDIT: common sense prevails

EDIT: "Get 3 gems on any game" DID NOT WORK for Runes Run... too exclusive I guess. Got it on Castle Assault instead

As for playing a game for two consecutive days, I don't know if it's a glitch but I got it by playing the same game twice, ie. play the game - quit - then play the game again

Good catch failinhearts.

The only thing I noticed was the points on sheep shot. You don't get a good deal of points for shooting the sheep straight into the pit any more. You actually have to work for them.

I am on "Ambrosia". I had 0 friends on all 6 of the choices.

Runes Run is now a multi-player thing? I just ran a race with 3 computer opponents but I think it's intended for multiple players. Bet you can't outrun my level 50

That feel when no friends on any of them too.

Doesnt look like there's any changes between servers though. I'd guess that one will always probably not have as many people on it, which would be good for doing things like the Present and playing in general.

We should choose a server to be "our" server. It would make it easier to meet up with and add other DarkSpyro friends since we still can't add people by portal master name (at least I don't think we can... I can't play it anymore, it's far too laggy on my home internet connection).

Agreed, everyone on DarkSpyro should go to which ever we agree on. However, which one? Which one is least busy?
We should also have a certain thing we greet people with if we are from darkspyro. And if the other is also, they say the same thing. Good idea or not?

No more jewel in Rune run race, also if you aren't against another playerthe compu character are a mabu a mole and a gillman(I think it gurglefin)

Today's Update:

If you go to the customize tool, there is a field for "Unlock" ... and there are two new items, one of which is a "Small Penguin Tree" that is locked.
I have not been able to find the second new item on any menus yet.
No other changes as far as I can tell.

EDIT: I checked the weather which I have not messed with in a long time. Has anyone seen the Fog or Twister options before? They might be new with this update.

No they've been there a while Spooky Fog comes with unlocking Undead Theme, Tornado comes with unlocking Air Theme

Dunno if anyone mentioned it (maybe I skipped over it), but a Mabu in the lower right of the Mainland (where Finn and the balloon are) gives you a "Magic Compass" which has you hunt around the Mainland for a treasure chest in a pile of dirt. You have to attack it a few times and when you "pop" it, you get a good chunk of coins. Looks like it's around 30-50 or so.

It seems that you can get 3 per day as well, so that's kind of cool.



Also, it appears that Treasure Hunt has been made into a multiplayer game. In the event that you're the only one playing, you get to face off against a Mabu, Diggs and Gurglefin. (I forget if it says Mabu for Diggs as well, but Gurglefin is called "Gillman, although I guess there could be more of his species who look like him but...)

They look like they're all new character models. (In fact, I saw Gurglefin/Gillman do his "attack" motion by doing a swipe at the chest) This gives me hope for a secondary mainland area based around their homeworld.

Yeah, I don't feel like reading all this, so, is there an undead and air theme now? Could someone show me a pic?

Seeing the Gillman/Gurglefin run is really nightmarish though. It's so weird.

They should dedicate an update purely to fixing the servers. All this new stuff sounds great but I'll never be able to see it.

The treasure in the treasure compast, have tiny detail like shine stars and earth spurt when you dig it

Actually, those things have come back. They used to be there, but when they updated to that winter theme in the Mainland, they did away with them. (I kind of assumed it was because someone complained about them being too macabre or something)

Found that the server name is resolved an the game is slight smoother

Sidekicks are registerable on Universe now. Notably, they prompted me to allow Universe to store files on my computer so it can load faster. I thought it did this a long time ago but I guess now they want you to confirm.

Checking on the Sidekicks, all my other Magic Items aren't appearing in my collection but whatever..I know they're still registered.



Dunno if anyone ever noticed, but their models in Universe are pretty much identical to their models in the 3DS game.

Friend limit I believe is 100. That's weird though you can't get the Spyro thing to work. Just keep trying I guess? There might be a bug or something.
