3 sidekicks showed up in the mail last night! (Whisper Elf, Gill Runt, & Terrabite) I'm still waiting on Trigger Snappy.

Only complaint: The paint on a couple of ours were a little sloppy.

PACKAGING
They came individually in padded envelopes with a "thank you" note from Frito Lay. I did not see a sealed plastic bag, instruction sheet, or web code, as I had seen in photos online from some people.

GAMEPLAY
Whisper Elf has bright purple hair in the game, but the toy and advertising art make her hair look just like stealth elf. Interesting discrepancy.

I'm curious what they will do in the 3ds version or in Giants. (I hope they do something new in Giants)

3DS version they also don't do anything. You can summon them in the main area, but when you go to a level they don't follow you there. Pretty janky if you ask me.

So wait..yours didn't come in the little baggies? They should be in a baggie inside the padded envelope. The baggie has the code and instruction sheet. If you didn't get any of that, I'd consider calling Frito-Lay. You paid $2 shipping and I don't even think it cost near as much to send it.

I noticed that color change too. The models on Universe are the same as the 3DS version and you can really tell the difference with Whisper's hair.

Well, I got 3 of my 4 in. Why did they not send the 4th at the same time? The one I haven't received yet is Whisper Elf? I assume they are still sending my 4th?

For those who didn't get all four at the same time, in spite of mailing all four off at once:

I'm hoping the 4th will come today. I could guess that at some point between Michigan and here it could have gotten mixed up or not gotten into a box at time, etc etc. So, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and wait til Friday and give them a ring after I get the mail then. After all, we're getting these a whopping 4-6 weeks earlier than expected so..

^definitely. im not worried about getting my other two at all. it is kind of weird though that they cashed 3 of my checks all at once, and one like a week later. so i assumed i would get 3 at once and then another. but i guess that whole getting mixed up somewhere along the way sort of explains that one.

3 of my 4 just arrived. I'm missing Terrabite but I'm sure he'll come soon. My kids will be pumped!

I called the number and said they were out of stock of Gill runt! I sent in my order the last week of June, as soon as I got the bags, how could they have been out of stick already?!
Does anyone have an extra gill runt they could part with please?

Got 3 of 4 today (Terrabite, Gill Runt, and Whisper Elf). I sent all 4 forms at the same time but when I called just to confirm that the 4th one was also on its way the rep I spoke with said that he didn't show a 4th one "keyed in yet" but to give it some time to be entered. Not sure why this one would not have been done with the others.

Okay, so I got another 4 at the alternate address. So, now I am 7/8 that I put in for.

I haven't gotten any duplicates. My final Whisper Elf should arrive tomorrow, based on when mine shipped out.

Either that or they just made less of Gill Runt than they did of everyone else.

all i know is i better get terrabite and trigger snappy. those were the two i wanted most, and so far i got gil runt and whisper elf.

Since the promotion goes until November the fulfillment center might get several shipments from production cycles. If that's the case they probably are just filling out the orders based on what's on hand at the time they process (Also why they made us rank our preference).

So it could just be a crap shoot depending on where the stock is at on your given day of processing.

The guy I talked to on the phone line said that the promotion ends the first week in September and they wouldn't be getting any more shipments of Gill runt in...
He might have been wrong, but either way, it makes me really nervous about my chances of completing my set, because I can't afford to pay 80 bucks for him on eBay

I need a Terrabite. The guy I talked too said I got 4 gil runts at one house, and 1 whisper elf, 2 trigger snappys, and 1 gil runt at another.

You guys are making me nervous that my checks have not been cashed yet.

Like another asked--did you send all in one envelope or 4 separate?

The mail-in card says it must be postmarked by 11/2/12 and received by 11/12/12, so if they are ending it early they are going to have some mad customers.

I am missing Trigger Snappy I checked and found out that only three out of four checks had been cashed. Consequently this is the same one I put in the Trigger Snappy envelope I think I am going to buy more chips and try for Trigger Snappy again

I now am thankful that I made Gil runt my first form

Got all four of them today in the mail!!!! Mine were in separate padded envelopes. Each envelope contained a thank you note then inside a sealed bag was the character, instructions, and web code. I received all four, no doubles. When I mailed them in, I mailed one check for $8 and all the UPCs, etc. in the same request. Good luck to everyone that's still waiting or missing some.

Haven't seen mail yet hoping my fourth one will come soon. Maybe it will be there when I get off work. But may call since I sent all four at the same time.

Mail just came with four packages and I got all four sidekicks! So happy I hate waiting lol

Checked my mail today. No #4 here. Like I said, I'll wait till tomorrow and if it doesn't come I'll give them a call and check out whats up.

EDIT: Decided I'd just call in for the heck of it and spoke to a woman who took my information and said that the other one was sent out yesterday, so it's en route. I took a look at the shipping info for one of them yesterday by searching for the number on the USPS website and it only took 2 days to get here, so hopefully it'll show up on Saturday.

And, she also confirmed that it was Trigger Snappy, so that means I got all 4!

Mine just arrived in the mail today, I'm very glad I got all four like I had hoped.
I bought two extra bags of chips last night just in case of duplicates so now I have two extra forms I don't need. :T Maybe I'll just hang them on my wall or something ridiculous like that.

Sidekicks ahoy!

Gil Runt and Whisper Elf showed up today on the California Central Coast. Fingers crossed for the other two tomorrow.

Like others, Whisper Elf came smashed over face first into her base. Tried bending her back, but that just stressed the plastic. I've applied a weight to her back while she lays face first on my desk, and will leave her that way for some time to see if it helps. I'll try applying heat to get her to stand up straight without causing a crack or break to her right leg if the weight doesn't work.

UPDATE: Aaaaannnnddd...there's the rest of the crew! As hoped, today Trigger Snappy and Terrabyte showed up at the house. We only ordered the one set, and won't be going for extras, so the boy best take care of these.

Whisper elf got her act together...mostly. She stands much more upright now. I don't think I'm going to do anything more to her for the moment. If she starts to collapse again, perhaps i'll take the heatgun to her.

Just wondering...has anyone gotten anything other than their FIRST choice picks?? I have 7 more coming...one full set for my nephew...and the rest are to trade.

I didn't get my first choice. I ordered one of each, but got trig, terrabite, and two whisper elves...

Received all 4 today in California, sent them in 7/7, money orders were cashed 8/7 and they were all in the same envelope.

My fourth hasn't come yet I'm going to call monday when i get off work
