Off-Topic: Apparently All best buys should be getting wham-shell in today! I went to mine and found 3, bought only 1 as I just wanted a 2nd wham-shell for collection purposes.

I have sent in 9 forms...4 in one name and address, 4 in another...and 1 to a friends house. I better get at least one of each. I've been calling frito lay...worried about FSS prizes ever showing up. I won 3 times online with codes...and got only 2 in the mail. That does not include the many, many, many phone calls I made and won on the 866 line. They better call me back. I called 2 weeks ago...with the dates I won...and I tried to follow up Friday, and again today...unsuccessful. Has anyone else called recently?

I called they said would call me back never did. I won twice with online codes and never got one of them. Not even to mention the phone wins. So your not alone.

I had a dream last night that frito lay lost my money and wouldnt send me any sidekicks

If I'm mailing 4 entries in one envelope,

Can I just get one money order for a total of $8? Or do I need to buy four separate ones?

Called Activision a couple days ago. They said they are recommending everyone to send in their sidekick forms separately.

I have seen the boxes for all of the promo bags. No displays tho

They were on the regular shelves by the chips and they also had a display for them in the middle aisle area by like a picnic table. This is the first time I've ever seen these boxes though that they're sitting in.

my checks got cashed today

2 of my first 4 checks were cashed today. The funny thing is that the ones that were cashed were sent in on 5 Jul. The other 2 that are still out there were sent on 29 Jun. Go figure.

All of my money orders were cashed today as well, they were sent in the same envelope.

One of my checks was cashed yesterday (wrote it on the 4th of July haha), the other three should be cashed later this week then since I sent off my other three forms later in that week

Three out of four checks cashed all were sent out on 7/3/12.

My $8 check was cashed today.

I'm still seeing the bags in stores but i thought the promotion ended in july, could i still try and get the sidekicks if i send in the stuff now?

They have to sent in by Nov 10th? You have lots of time.

Also, sidenote, I called activision the FSS hotline last night and my girlfirend called this morning. We both had "won" over the hotline, and although they were very nice couldnt find my "win" or FSS.

I didnt have to fight with them though, they just said "well we have your info we will get you one asap" and i got an email today confirming it will be shipped out but take 7-10 weeks

Don't get me wrong, its a complete cluster there. I read above that some people are being shipped 10+ figures, they have no limits lol

But they didnt put up a fight, so if this gives anyone the encouragement to call, you may get yours after all

I waited mine out and recieved it about a month ago. if it was this long id probably call. If they send me my sidekicks, hopefully they got my forms Ive had terrible trouble with my post office, then ill be on board for the future

My check just got processed yesterday...hopefully they are an their way soon.

My 4 checks got processed yesterday, so I'll either get something in the mail on where to send my 4 UPCs or they don't care and put my choices through. My checks were sent July 10th iirc.

They guarantee you can "purchase" an extra giants figure and the figure is of TRU's choice.

TRU was offering a Legendary Trigger Happy with every Giants preorder online. Not sure if they still are.

Yes you are right I did forget the key word. It is purchase. I guess these days after racking up quite a skylanders bill my mind tries to blank out the actual money involved with skylanders. The employees couldnt say which figure, they just said there will be at least one available for you to buy when you pick up your game. the important part here was that i was guaranteed it would be from the Giants line and not any of the leftover ones from the first game

I'm seriously hoping there's going to be a massive fallout on day 1 release. None of the employees will be informed about the promo, each store will probably do something different, and they'll try to get everyone to buy the L-Trigger Happys.

The rage will fuel a thousand suns and lo, we will tell this story to our children and our children's children.

But uh..back to the Sidekicks. Anyone hoping they'll send them all at once, and what exactly they'll send them in? I have a feeling they'll go with bubble envelopes because these things are small and probably won't come in a box. I just hope they don't get all smushed in the mail.

^Didn't want to say anything, but seriously, too much off-topic discussion going on in here. Anyways, I'm thinking Young America and Frito-Lay will do the right thing and send them to us in boxes like they did with the previous promotions. I wish online retail outlets would do the same, those bubble mailers are almost guaranteed complaints just waiting to happen.

Oh I certainly am. If you read some of my quotes youll see its the only thing I complain about But I am sure if they are sent in early enough I wont have trouble getting all four. I sent mine in on the 11th of July.

Just got off the phone with Frito Lay Customer Service (via the FSS contest hotline #) in regards to our missing FSS figures. For those who don't know, my family won twice a day during the contest for a total of 24 days. We received 25 of 40 randoms and 1 of 8 FSS out of everything we won. First of all, the guy asked for my zip code and phone number. He asked about the nature of my call and I, reasoning that I had called the contest line, told him I was looking for some missing skylanders. He asks for my address and pulls up my account. (Sidekick searchers, brace yourself...)

I was told all 4 were shipped out.

Nice bit of surprise information, but not exactly what I was calling for.
I was confused for a moment and then said, "No, wait, I'm looking for the figures we won from the contest in May."
Moment of silence.
Operator -"Oh."
(Almost like he was saying "Damn, I thought we didn't have to deal with that contest anymore")

He digs through my "account" a bit more and finds the last ship date was in June. He asked how many I won, and I told him a total of 48 from 2 phones, twice a day from 4/12 - 5/5.
He counts what he has in the system.
"I'm counting 26 shipped to that address. But I see that you were obviously winning EVERY DAY, so I'll send this over to my supervisor and see what we can do."
I told him I wrote down the dates of every win (when we got a "random" and when we got a FSS) but he said he didn't need it and asked for my email address. So, I gave him my email address...and we'll see what happens.

Long story short, if you're still waiting for a FSS, you should probably call and make sure they have you in their system. Not that I'm trying to add to the paranoia that has run rampant on these forums, but...just in case.

I called about the Sidekicks, and got the LEAST enthusiastic rep EVER.. She said my FSS win that shipped June.. ugh.. just looks like we gotta wait..

I called last night to find out where all my fss and randoms were at.

Well today I got 6 fss and 3 wrecking balls in the mail.

Hurray, I sent off my Sidekicks form! Hopefully I got everything right and didn't forget like the UPC code or even the form itself, but the money order is in so...

I just saw a post on the Skylanders FB page saying that someone had gotten their sidekicks in today. They had mailed in their order forms on July 5th.

There was no "whining" in my original post. Merely sharing facts for people who may be expecting multiple figures. And what father wouldn't call looking for a toy for their 6 year old daughter? So, before you start calling people out on being "greedy" and "whining", you might want to get some facts. Between my wife and myself, we have 6 kids and 3 grandkids scattered across 3 states. During the promotion, it was not known that they were only sending out Wrecking Ball and Boomer as the "randoms". The rules said nothing about how often you could win during the course of the promotion. What better way to get something for all the kids that wouldn't cost me anything but shipping to them?

As for 8 FSS? That was going to be something extra special for the older kids with a couple of spare wins just in case something happened to one, and to offer up to anyone who may have missed out overseas. Which, by the way, you were the first person who messaged me looking for assistance in aquiring one. Had I promised one to you, I'm sure you'd want to know where it was too.

There are far more people on this site worthy of having fingers pointed at for greed or whining. None of this was out of greed. And I would appreciate a little courtesy before you or anyone else goes throwing out accusations about such things, mate.

What are you guys doing with all the extra FSS? My nephew and I got into Skylanders too late and completely missed this promotion. Luckily, we're just in time for the sidekicks. I'd love to get a FSS for my nephew and I without paying the ridiculous amounts on eBay.
