I'll be the first to say it:

Last I heard, there was a strong rumour flying around that Activision were meant to be releasing a new Crash game in 2012. However, I highly doubt that Activision would want to put Crash in competition with Skylanders.

So, could Crash be one of the new Skylanders? In S:SA, they wanted to focus on Spyro and added various Spyro characters, now that they don't have to anymore they could potentially throw in whoever they want.

So, do you think it's a potential?

Even though I've never played a Crash game before, I do like the Crash series, so it would be awesome to play as Crash

I'd agree that he would be a good fit, and that if his gameplay looked fun, I'd consider getting the game.

But, Sonic is competition for Skylanders. And I honestly wouldn't want to see an icon as big as Sonic get stuck in this franchise.

My face when I realized Crash was in that one game Crash of the Titans.
And he rode around on Giants.



Actually, that'd be pretty cool if we could have the Skylanders ride around on the giants.

But Crash being in there probably won't happen, at least until after they release a new Crash game.
And get rid of those awful tribal tattoos

crash games were far superior to spyro games in my youth (i realize that this is the wrong board to express this opinion in) and i would be so excited to play as him again. mfw those tribal tattoos. he didnt always have those did he? i sure dont remember them.

Crashes old design was epic... Now he just looks weird.

Anywho it would be cool to play as him!

In all honesty, I just don't think Crash would translate well into Skylanders... I mean, what element would he be? Magic and Air are already ruled out...

I don't think I'd want Crash in the game... Crash deserves better than an afterthought to a franchise that revolves around itself.

Crash may appear in game as an NPC but other than that not. Gossips are gossips. Waiting for more information on Giants.

I like the Radical design too. It looks better as the ND design.

My favourite design of Crash is in Twinsanity.

My favorite crash design is Crash of the Titans, I think those tatoos are really cool.

Probably Earth. The easy choice would have been to lump him into Magic or potentially Air (thinking about the spinning attacks he does) but we both know those slots are taken.

He doesn't really fit into any other groups.

For Crash, it depends, Tech is possible too depending on what moves they'd give him, but at the most basic Air or Earth.

I'd actually like to see Crash and Spyro team up, again. It'll be a throwback to Spyro Orange and Crash Purple

Wumpa Island Adventure pack: Includes Crash Bandicoot (Life) , Wumpa Island Game Piece, Aku Aku Magic item, and Wumpa Whip magic item...

Crash is a terrible game... PS How would he fit in to the story? What element?

I could imagine Crash as being an Earth or Life element character due to his habitat and species. For his moves, he would start off with his classic spin attack and sliding move. As you upgrade, his spin lasts longer and deals more damage, while his slide covers great distances and can propel enemies away. His third move features his body slam in which he auto jumps into the air and hits the earth, damaging all nearby enemies. His soul gem upgrade could be his bazooka, which you can aim in a manner similar to Bouncer's rocket launcher.

Of course, Crash likely isn't going to appear in the game or any sequels. Also, one thing to consider, Crash has always been a platformer. Removing his ability to jump freely in the console version would remove a huge aspect of the gameplay that he is known for. IMO, it manged to work for Spyro since he is a dragon and thus can still fly and perform his classic head-bash, but I'm not too sure about Crash.

Let's say they made a new element. What new element could crash fit into?

(and would you say Spyro was "magic" if they didn't stick him in there from the start?)

PLEASE PLEASE don't bring crash into skylanders, It would kind off ruin the 'spyro' feel to it, plus, that would mean TWO fan bases raging even more.

it doesn't have a spyro feel to it anyway I wouldn't mind crash beingin a unlockable lvl

Off-topic: In my honest opinion, Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure felt more like classic Spyro than A Hero's Tail did. Just because it isn't technically a Spyro game doesn't mean that it can't feel similar or influenced by the old Spyro series.

sonics element would probably be wind because he is so fast

I think they may have an easter egg about crash like they did spyro in S:SA (Quigley says, "Haven't I seen you somewhere before?") Maybe he will be an NPC, but I think they should stick with their day job.
