So I found that Toys R Us has a ship to store thing going on. Since the nearest TRU is 2 hours away, and I was headed to the city for the day anyway, I thought this would be a smart deal. (I ordered BB and the Legendary 3 pack.) The guy at the store has me look that they are there, I see both, and sign to pick them up... When I got home though, I happily took them out of the bag to find my BB was already open - then stapled back together to close it - thus is defeated as a collectable. When I called TRU they said if I wanted to change it, I'd have to drive the 2 hours and take it back to the store...

Crud... I'd be grateful to get a blue Bash at all but that is just unbelievable! D:<

...you didn't check this BEFORE running the 2 hours back home?? O.o
Hint: always check packaging (card AND blister) and paint on the figure.

This doesn't mean it had been tampered with per say. Just damaged in shipping/removal from packaging. Sucks to be sure at either rate.

Bluck. That's no good. I've suffered a few things as well concerning Blue Bash

Pre-order that I got ended up not shipping when everyone else started to get theirs, then was later shifted to not available any more. I full paid for it and everything, and I KNOW I was one of the earlier people to pre-order.

Then when they came to the stores, I went to my local one about 20 minutes before, only to get out of the car and have a woman in front of me (who got out a few seconds before I did) get the last ticket.

Eventually though I went to another TRU and they had like 8 sitting on the counter which was super lucky since it was about 40 some minutes after the event started.


I was under the impression though that TRU was sending an item from their warehouse TO the store, and it wasn't something they just had on hand there (which looks like what happened; they got one someone returned). I'd definitely send a message to corporate about that.

They should reimburse you as they knew the item was not mint when they sold it and we're somewhat deceptive by pre-packaging and. It I forums you.

You should have. Even given the option (when you first went) of a mint one or the crappy one at a cheaper price.

i dont see what the big deal is? my toys r us's has loads of them.

I still don't see the appeal of variants for anyone other than collectors who HAVE to have everything. The variants are ugly, and not as good as the regular ones. Think about that, if you are a collector and you buy a variant on ebay, (which yes, I know you didn't buy this blue bash on ebay) you are paying an absurd amount of money for something you will never open, and isn't even as good as the version you can buy in stores for 10 bucks. Is it really worth it?

This is just a matter of opinions. In the game, they are as good as the regular ones, even better since they come with a higher level and extra money.
