peeps are say to me is spyro powerfull than Cynder or cynder more powerfull? and i have no idea what do think Spyro or Cynder?

I would think Cynder, simply because she survived her abuse.

I don't know, it is hard because cynder was defeated by spyro, but she is really powerfull, so it's tough.

one supposes it depends on what you mean by "more powerful".

in terms of fighting skill: cynder, no contest. she is a trained soldier and killer, has led an army, and has survived dangerous situations (being alone in the wilderness, fighting in an arena) unaided. in gameplay, she is also faster, has several attacks that are stronger than spyro's, and uses better magical powers.

hmm. now that faun thinks about it, is there any area at all in which spyro could outmatch cynder in a fair fight? the only reason he beat her the first time was deus ex machina and his only "edge" over her is being the title character/epic fantasy cliche du jeur. faun always did think these games would have been better if they'd just left spyro out and made them about cynder. she's not the most interesting character ever, but when compared with the so-called hero of the trilogy, she's practically shakespearean.

In Shadow Legacy Purple Dragons show an incredible Magic ability with Spyro being able to switch between the regular and Shadow Realm using [placed] talismans, living and retaining full Magic strength. Assuming they have the same abilities through all three series, pure Magic is the only area I could think of, but it's probably a lost and forbidden practice due to the chaos of the Shadow Realm.

Even then, Classic Spyro could not do it at will in all areas, so Cynder may outmatch him even there. We don't know the extent of simple Magic in any of the three Realms.

Regardless, I assume Dark Magic is more powerful by default, also being able to survive both the regular Realm and Shadow Realm, switch between them at any time, and more. This would explain why Kaos's Shadow Minions are more powerful than the Skylanders themselves. Perhaps the Sorceror was just that powerful due to age over Spyro, but Dark Magic still has to have some hidden power over pure Magic to gain that huge an upper talon.

So yeah, in conclusion, I think Cynder beats Spyro at absolutely everything.

Both. Or else everyone would just go for either Spyro or Cynder. They'd be back to warfare again!

Hmmm... Depends, they both have quite different fighting styles, it's hard to compare. Spyro's elements are much more KILL IT WITH FIRE!!! And just straight up engulfing them with fire or ice or whatever, but you have to keep shooting at them to make any effect. But they do seem to be stronger. Cynder's however are more tactical, lasting longer and also stopping the enemies from attacking, or even making them attack eachother. So yeah, they're both pretty equal IMO.

Spyro's Power Stats:

Cynder's Power Stats:

• 55 Strength
  
• 85 Agility
  
• 75 Defense
  
• 45 Luck
  

They're both pretty closely matched in Strength and Agility, so the real differences are in the Defense and Luck stats with the main decider being a much higher Defense in Cynder's favor. In comparison, she's got 33% more armor meaning she can take the abuse, so thus she's more likely to come out on top.

Mmm... Depends, for me Spyro it's like the "Main Attacker" and Cynder it's like the "Tactical", but both are quite strong in different situations.

EDIT: I'm talking about TLoS Series, I don't know anything about Cynder at all (Skylander I Mean)

Hmm... It kind of depends on what you mean by "more powerfull".

Spyro on one hand has far more raw power than Cynder, (I mean he's the purple dragon, so yeah.)

Cynder has had a lot more combat experience and shadow is just a bada.... butt power.

So it kind of depends.

i have play the i was talk about damage from the attacks. Cynder weak melee is quicker than spyro but spyro deals more damage, well on my game.

Maybe Cynder is slower, but one of her Armor pieces can make her attacks faster which kind of nullifies that point.

The fist armor for spyro increase his attacking speed in twilight falls.

Why is there a contest honestly, Spyro is always going to be better in combat then Cynder.
However when it comes to Intelligence she has the upper hand, Remember Malefor gave her that form to strengthen her, he wouldn't of done it if he didn't think she was strong enough to defend herself as she was a great general

Depends what game you're talking about.

If its The Legend of Spyro, then Spyro would defeat her. He defeated her in her most powerful form in ANB and he's also the special purple dragon and all. However, due to Cynder's fighting ability in DotD and the fact that her exposer to darkness gave her more than one element, I would say she would have a really good fighting chance, but Spyro would win in the end simply because of his special purple dragon powers.

If it's Skylanders, then I say they're equal. There fight probably end in a draw.

faun isn't sure about that. to faun's mind, spyro only accomplished anything out of incredible luck, not any particular skill or tactical planning.

Spyro. Cynder's tough, as DotD shows, but Spyro's pretty much THE dragon. Not sure if her evil self is stronger or not, though.

I usually kick Spyro's ass with Cynder in the arena. But that doesn't count.

I've always seen Spyro as a defensive fighter (i.e. will never attack unless provoked) while Cynder really doesn't care very much. I think when push comes to shove he'd win anyway. >.>

Remember Cynder's skill as a leader in ANB came from Malefor's control and there's no evidence that she remembers all of that information. Spyro was trained by legendary warriors, and that was with his faculties about him, so yeah he remembers. Also, they both did the same damage in DOtD, thier attacks just look different. True she survived, but that was only with Spyro's help.
In any case LOS is dead and both characters have been rebooted along with the world. True, Cynder was still saved by Spyro from an undead dragon, but since Skylanders is for kids we can assume that her new experience was not as 'terrible' as what it was originally.

Also: @Jackson: She was still in the egg though, how could Malefor have any idea about how she was? Sure, LOS had it's prophecies and destiny but there was no mention of personality being preordained, or that Malefor could pick up on it pre or even post hatching.

Not really. I honestly think if he hadn't been bossed around by Ignitus or the Chronicler the entire time, he'd be a full on coward. Seriously, he never thinks for himself in those games. <.<

Well Spyro and Cynder are pretty evenly matched until you toss in the fact that Spyro can use the power of time. Also he could probably summon monsters just like Malefor. So I would say no, Spyro is more powerful.

He didn't, but it's logical to guess once the egg hatched he decided she needed a boost of his power if she was going to be effective against four high regarded dragon element masters or be the image of malefors evil power while commanding an army because he didn't have time for a kid to age to adult. So what did he do? Corrupt her into a stronger *Adult form*
