Well, an assigned date makes sense. So that means that a game has been completed for quite some time, but won't reach the market until the registered date... but if that's the case, I still wonder how some foreign countries assign a release date that it's before the one of the country that originally made the product. That happens a lot of time here, but with movies.

^Well, because I think that since the country wants the game released before the one that makes the game, I bet this is harder to do, and therefore more expensive.

... Well, that makes you wonder if they were working on some new last-touches features before releasing them in their own country. You know that some Japanese games have some things that are exclusive to the country.

I don't get it. I've already beaten the final boss. I thought that the stars that were left were more than enough to keep me playing the game. :/ Every site says that there is only 121 stars, so the accurate amount that I have left is 55 if I include the extra star. <.<[/quote] You beat bowser with luigi and then complete all 121 stars again with Luigi. |

More than that. ^ What's pointless is the fact that you play the same game over. TWICE. Except with a different character! It's worse than collecting green stars in all the galaxies in Super Mario Galxy 2. Plus it's all for what? The final star? Redicolous.

Although the Galaxy games are very fun, for some reason, I prefer handheld games when it comes to Mario. I just had so much fun with the Mario and Luigi trilogy. But I got to admit that there are plenty of console games that I absolutely love too, like the Paper Mario trilogy and Super Mario RPG. And let's not forget one of my favorite games of all; Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island

Luigi is different. He goes faster and jumps higher, but has awful stopping.
If you think that's bad... Play 3D Land! You have to beat every single level with each Bro just to unlock the final level |

Of course. Luigi is more agile than Mario. That's pretty noticeable in some games. I don't know about his halts though, I haven't play Galaxy in quite some time. That 3D Land game you say, it's for 3DS, correct? Anyway, when you say each bro, you mean you have to do the same thing you did on Galaxy?

Yeah, once you beat the 9th world, you can play as Luigi. Then, if you want to get the last level, in the 16th world, you need to finish every other level with both Luigi and Mario. A single level for all that work! At least in Galaxy games you get a lot more to do than that for it.

#126 Posted: 00:06:56 28/07/2012
Not really. Levels like Luigi Squared are much harder. But as far as 3D Land goes, that's the only challenging one.
There are five Mario games this year including Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, which is excessive even for Mario. That's probably why the games aren't as good as before. Still good, but not as good. Hopefully they take a break and just one or two games after that, then a 64/Galaxy-esque innovation. |

Good thing to do is go to S1-1 and get both Statue Leaves at the beginning of the level. Before you enter the final level, save. If you die, just tap power quickly and reload the game. Infinite chances with two Leaves... They're the real lifesaver of the level.
I think TeeJay from Nintendo Life beat it in three hundred and something seconds. |

I know of some games that have some pretty cool features that are never seen by anyone but Japan. Some say that it's because the features is either hard to adapt to the new country or that there wasn't time to translate, but I doubt that's either cases.

I always play a Mario game until I've gotten everything(star coins, levels, etc.) then I stop playing that game. I can't have fun playing the games more than once. Example, I finished everything in Super mario 3d land save the last level and haven't touched the game since. The Mario & Luigi games I can have fun with infinitely though.

RPG games are the ones I seem to enjoy the most. Add to another of the many things I love about the series. It's for nothing that this series is the best-seller of all times... but I guess part of it its because there are a way lot of Mario games
One thing I truly appreciate about the games is that even after the years pass, the game is still both sane and fun. It never get's too dark, with some minor exceptions...

^Well of course that makes a lot of sense. It may be Ok at the age you have now, but that age, I can tell it can be very scary for little kids. When I meant dark I thought of games like Paper Mario TTYD. I loved that game, but some parts were pretty dark

Personally I think Grodus was a much better villain in his one game than Bowser's been through the whole series. Although he was a SERIOUS anticlimax boss. Magnus 2.0 was harder. Heck, Smorg was harder if you didn't know what you were doing. <.<

but the main one was the Shadow Qween remember?

That Fawful was as evil as he was crazy. I think that's one of the reasons why he was so loved by fans. And to add more: he was the only villain (asides Bowser) to appear in all three Mario & Luigi games
