I agree flying is cool, but some what worthless. It would not be worthless if he had a cool attack that only could be used while flying.

Has anyone noticed this? On the large image that's been out a while of all of the various figures, if you look right behind the reposed Terrafin, you can see what looks like a red Pop Fizz. I don't know if it's supposed to be legendary or a variant or what, but you can clearly tell it's Pop Fizz because you can see his hand holding the vial of soda sticking up, and a bit of his claw from behind Terrafin.

Also, I just noticed that if you look all the way to the right of the screen, you can see a figure that's mostly out of the picture, but I think this might be Sprocket, the new Tech skylander. If you look at the base, it looks like a tech base. At first I thought that the part of the figure visible on screen was Drobot, because of the similar colors, but it's not. It's got an orange base, and you can see the series 2 Drobot in the background, in a pose that isn't even close to being the unknown Skylander. Has anyone else noticed this? Just curious...

Also, I'll bet you $5 that the new fire Skylander is named "Hot Dog" lol.

Its not Sprocket its Drobot because Drobot has 2 new remodels 1 series2 Drobot and 1 lightcore Drobot

I was just looking at the picture again today, I and happened to notice something. You were right, Drobot is getting two remodels, but neither of those are the Skylander that's cut off on the right side. In the background middle area of the picture, you can see both the Lightcore Drobot (the one swooping down shooting lasers from his eyes) and the Series 2 Drobot (the one with his head turned, mouth open, and wings out.) Neither one of these is in a similar pose to the Tech Skylander that can been seen in the front right.

I think it was already decided that the drobot with the lasers is Jins articulated design thrown in to fill space.... there have been a few discussions about it, one is around page 18 or 19? The red one has been discussed too and most do not believe it to be pop fizz but no good answers on who it is.

So the Skylanders series will have release dates of the console games with Austrailia being the first, UK being the second, USA being the third, and Japan being last? Not that I'm saying there's anything wrong with that.

^Yes, but after the leak, it seems nearly all the regular characters are released on the first wave.

i didnt really mind the figures being released in waves, it gave me time to save money for figures before they came out.

Eh, will the new figures do waves or 1 release? Im hoping 1 release so I can see reviews before I buy a figure.

Expect multiple waves. However I am still holding to my opinion that the first wave will contain about thirty or more different figures with at least temn of them being brand new characters. Releasing a lot of new characters in the beginning is going to be integral to convincing people this issomething new and fun again. Also expect massive amounts of figure variety in stores to encourage fans disuaded by figure scarcity last year. However, after black friday expect the shelves to be near bare until mid-January again. With a wave three consisting of rereleases and about eight new figures in January. Wave two will be a small addition in mid-Nov mostly to transition back to six pack shipments from the larger initial waves.

This is all just an educated guess. Regardless expect EVERYTHING we saw on the german website by Black Friday.

I traveled past Japan but I didn't see any skylanders in the airport video game store.

Knowing Acti though they're going to get lazy and, in future games, make the next waves even more late than the previous ones.
Wave 2- Don't remember, was it December?
Wave 3- Late January/Early February (so roughly a month and a half later)
Wave 4- Mid March (Around a month and a half later)
Wave 5- Early April, though this was only because they were leaked out before release. Roughly half a month later

And January is 3 months after October, so... In 3, I wouldn't be shocked for it to happen.

^that just means more months for me to get some pocket money to spend on the ever growing collection

I guess that's an excellent point, but it also means a much more boring game. The most fun thing about Spyro's Adventure, IMO, was waiting for or finding new waves, and it wasn't even spread out right, so if they start pumping new characters half-yearly... Well, I'd like the game a lot less.

On the Skylander's FB page, I saw someone had posted an image of a preview card they had gotten when they preordered the game from Toys R Us. The picture is kinda blurry, but it still gives us better looks at the Magic and Undead giants. Has anyone on here preordered Giants from TRU? I'd love to see a clearer picture of this!
