yeah, without seeing this collection, I wouldn't of thought of leaving some of my fave skylanders in packages. I'd love to get a demo of the actual game and some beta figures too. random side note is random.

Yeah, that is perfectly normal, for the the convention logo to be printed on the package itself. So, you have a legit Cynder. Grats by the way.

It is against the rules to double post-so even if you do have something new to talk about then edit your post. Dark will ban you-in fact he might because you are ignoring his rules. Stop trying to be clever-Sesshomaru75 was trying to be helpful and stop you from getting banned-saying he was being annoying will just make people want you to get banned instead of helping you.

I actually disdain not editing quotes (which many of the forum police are "guilty" of but it is not covered in the forum rule here [but generally is, for most forums]) as that takes up significantly more space than a few short, sharp posts in a row. But hopping off bandwagon now...

Oh, I agree with you. I'm just bringing to light the five to ten separate, useless posts that pop up and clutter a thread every time somebody does a relatively innocuous double post. Sometimes it even becomes a full-fledged argument. I just don't see how they think it's worth it at that point.

EDIT: And let's not even get into the results of all this meddling. To even say that the number of people who actually listen to the forum police is minimal would be an understatement. They have no authority, everyone they post to knows they have no authority, and they respond with that knowledge firmly in mind. Personally, if someone's post really bothers me and I know it's against the rules, I just report them. It's way easier and more appropriate than trying to start something over it.

I like to use Shroom Boom for this example. I will be buying 3-4 of every character. As some know, Shroom Boom has a non-Lightcore and Lightcore version. So I will do this -

- Non Lightcore (sealed)
- Non Lightcore (opened; Path A)
- Lightcore (sealed)
- Lightcore (opened; Path

However, reposes will go 2 to open 1 to keep sealed.

Saw this as well. Too bad it's not the American copies. Not to say I would buy it, if so, cause I don't have a spare mil laying around yet. However, it would have been more impressive in my eyes, if it were the American versions. Infact, had it been the American versions, I bet that would have sold super quick.

If I can preorder figures like Gamestop is rumoring to do, I won't give a crap about any sales of figures through buy 1 get 1 sales. This will save me a lot of hassle on day 1.

If none of the stores I frequent are willing to set aside what I would like, then I am going to hope for launch day sales, like what happened on the first game.

I might also space out my purchases, because even now I am seeing lots of characters that were hard to find, minus Wham Shell.

Nah. Nothing yet. I would guess, that if we were to see an emerald variant, it would be next month. That's based on the idea that they would want to stretch out releases, to keep people buying Skylanders up until Giants releases in October.

I never thought I would have a room like this. One day, it just popped in my head. I grabbed some paint, some decals, some figures, and I built some small shelves for said figures and went to town.

If it's due to age or finances, it's understandable. However, if you are old enough to go out on your own, or have the money, all you need is some ideas and before you know it, you will have a room didcated to gaming.

I'd love to be able to have a wall like this, but finding the characters is just a hassle I'm not willing to go through a second time. Though I do have it planned out which characters I WILL buy sealed to hang on my wall. I already have a sealed Whirlwind/Double Trouble/Drill Sergeant on my wall, and I intend to get a sealed single of Dino-Rang. Then when Giants comes out, I'll buy two of the Chill/Zook/Ignitor 3 packs (one to open, one for my wall) and a series 2 Hex.

One of each element, my favourite Skylander from their respective element, a three pack and a single with the Skylanders logo, and a single and a three pack with the Giants logo. Perfect symmetry that my OCD has nothing to complain about. : )
