I was just wondering what new kind of new hats you would like to see on Skylanders: Giants and what abilities they would give them whether it be more speed, armor, elemental power, critical hit, or maybe something new

Ex: I was thinking maybe a hat that gives the Skylanders wearing the hat the ability to swim in water that usually can't but wouldn't really benefit Skylanders that can already go in the water or over it. I was thinking it could be like an intertube sitting on your head or floating above it like the angel hat.

A mask instead of a hat

a hat that looked like a head of one of the skylanders (eg. spyro, trigger happy, stealth elf, etc) seriously, I'd love having spyro wearing a trigger happy hat.

I think there should be superhero themed masked and helmets like iron man helmet on that would look so cute! ;0

if there was an iron man helmet it would go to drobot hands down

I would like Hats that made you more stronger, faster, defensive and lucky

it would suit drobot and look cool for sure, but I'd still put it on trigger happy because it'll look cute

I would like one of those drink hats with the straws and the cans on the side

What would be really nice (especially on the 3DS version) is to incorporate the hats your Mii gets from the StreetPass games. So like, Mario hat, Luigi hat, etc. That'd be sweet for a 3DS exclusive. (and if they wanted to have some fun, they could call them like "Red Plumber's Hat" or whatever)

What about a deep sea mask? Like the metal ones that have a "window" for you to see through. You could use them to go underwater!

Ya that would be really cool and even better than the inner tube.

To bad it's so much work to introduce items (gear) like in "Legend of Spyro, chronicles" I would really like that.

Adding to the repeatable content to get it (if you get it with 1 skylanders the rest wont have it yet). And it adds like extra damage to your basic attacks etc.

Not gonna happen tough .. to much skylanders to workout a set for each one of them and an alternate art for bracers/chest for each skylander...

I like the idea of a spyro hat or something!

Hope they redesign the art for the dragons hats as well some hats just don't fit well on the heads

I would also like to see a sombrero, an umbrella hat, and a bicycle helmet.

I would like to see customizable gear/armor (such as head, chest, and body gear). Different pieces of gear could be found within levels while others that are more special could be unlocked by an achievement. You would also get a bonus or boosted stats if you used gear of the same theme ( for example: Viking gear or pirate themed gear).

The idea about the hats that let you swim I think is pretty cool, although I think they'd be more likely to have an upgrade (in the Upgrade-a-Tron or whatever it's called that uses Legendary Treasures to upgrade Skylanders) that lets you do that.

what about a hat that represents a certain element and raises that element when worn?
(like for air, a tornado
life could be a flower pot or fruit)

or hats based on elemental bases?

Oooh~ fun topic! I can think of some headgear they missed out on in the first game. How about a turban, a fireman's hat, and an afro wig? Glasses would be an awesome addition too. Also my Ghost Roaster needs a monocle.

It's a shame that the nicknames have a character limit.

too bad, I wonder if they will increase it?

Each character should have a specific hat that suits them. (e.g. Boomer could have a hat that looks like a bomb. Stealth elf could have a ninja mask.) Different characters could still wear these though.

Ninja Mask - +10 speed. - A black ninja mask that covers the whole head except for the eyes.
Bomb Hat/Mask/Helmet - +5 critical hit. - A big round, fake bomb that is either worn on top of the head or around the Skylanders head.
Cloudy Mind - +20 Elemental Power, -3 speed. - A cloud that floats around and covers the Skylanders head.
Arrow-Head - + 5 Critical Hit. - A prank hat that causes the illusion that an arrow has been shot through the Skylanders head.
Activision Cap - +10 Critical Hit. - A blue & white cap with the Activision logo.
Giant Head - +20 Critical Hit. - A Mask for true Giants fans. There is one of each giant.

Hats that boost HP, but only for certain Skylanders. I don't use hats but it would help soooo many characters get better.
