yup, I was surprised too. That's when I started looking for the machine of doom, as it said: also available and listed it there.
I can show pictures on my deviantart page if people want to see. it's really worth it, it really does have great backstories about the skylanders and detailed bios, I really enjoyed spyro's and cynder too.

Where did you get it? and for how much?

I've got Eon's guide and the magic and tech book on preorder and I'm alright waiting a couple of weeks, I'm just interested on who broke the street date by 2 weeks.

buy the bradygames guide for skylanders, its much better...

I don't like the BG guide at all, actually. It's pointless since the game is so easy anyway... Though I do like the stickers with it...

The bradygames strategy guide doesn't show that much detailed information of the Skylanders like the 2013 Annual and the Sticker Book, Kappa...

how many different books are there going to be?
just a fact book and a sticker book?

No, there's the novel Skylanders: The Machine of Doom, Skylanders Book of Elements: Magic and Tech, Skylanders: Master Eon's Official Guide, Skylanders Calender, and other activity books including the Annual, Sticker Book.

And then there's Zap.

The "Did you know" things are funny though. Eon confirmed for having a garden, Trolls confirmed for hatching from eggs, Hex confirmed for being crazy powerful and dolphins confirmed for boss in Giants

I think the sticker book has some awesome flavor to it. :) I'll look at picking one up. As for the Annuals, that's definitely a pass for me.

Bash is probably not on the dragon post, because I think they are making that new Earth Skylander the "dragon" and Bash was either demoted or made to be what everyone thinks he is, which is a dragon of some sort.

No, Bash is probably just on another page. Don't jump to conclusions, guys. Come on..

I agree, that'd make sense, because in eon's guide, their bios are different too, I don't think they'd make a fourth bio for each unless they are, you never know.

The bios in this sticker book sound a lot better, some of the original ones were really bad and just "character was a great hero of their village and met Eon".

Thats exactly what I want. I bought the Brady Games guide last week as it was on clearance, I didn't really want it but I thought it would look nice in the collection. I have the Eon's guide and Magic and Tech guide on order for £3.60 each. Such a bargain so even if they are a bit naff I won't have wasted much money.

And oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. A penguin? I love penguins. What does the penguin actually do? And are there any more codes in the book? The product description says that there are a few codes in the book for use in the Skylanders game.

Well since Camo's bio in the Sticker Book is very much like his bio that we already know (bu with a few added details), it's not really spoilers.

I rearranged the bio in the correct order :3

"This plant-dragon hybrid was born by the roots of the Tree of Life, and so possesses the amazing ability to speedily cultivate fruit and vegetables that explode when they are ripe (creating both an everyday eating hazard and a hilarious dinner-party prank).

Master Eon found himself at the butt end of this juicy-fruit joke when he visited Camo's idyllic island. While out for a stroll, Eon spotted a perfect melon waiting to be picked. But as he bent over the scrumptious speciment, it exploded, splattering the Portal Master's robe and alarmed old face. As he wiped away the sticky seeds, Eon noticed a pair of prying eyes nearby, clearly enjoying the scene. Eventually, Camo stepped forward and introduced himself. Eon soon invited him to be a Skylander - and, on his days off, the Portal Master's personal gardener."

Whirlwind's detailed bio from the Sticker Book:

"Born of both unicorn and dragon descent, Whirlwind often felt like an oddball outsider. Unicorns were unimpressed with her wings and dragons disliked the horn on her head. Shunned and seeking solace, Whirlwind retreated to the cover of storm clouds, where she learned to harness her tempest power. When a troublesome troupe of trolls came searching for unicorn tails and dragon scales, Whirlwind burst from her cover and unleashed a blinding rainbow to send them fleeing. From that day on, unicorns and dragons saw her in a new light. Seeing her purity of heart, Master Eon made her a Skylander. Today, nothing makes a troll tremble like a small, stormy cloud moving speedily towards him."

Wrecking Ball's:

"Once upon a time, Wrecking Ball was nothing more than a common or garden grub. His adventure began when he became a speciality ingredient in a wizard's magical stew. After being chucked into the cooking concoction, a curious occurence took place. The hungry little grub worm took a sip, and then a gulp, and ended up devouring the whole lot. When the wizard came in to check on his cauldron, instead of his tasty stew he found one enormous grub who had grown to over twenty times his original size.

And as Wrecking Ball was still a little peckish, he popped the wizard in his mouth too - only to spit him straight back out again (even a grub's standard's, the wiard tasted like a warthog!). The story soon spread, raising smiles across the Skylands world. Soon the plucky grub bounced into Master Eon, who evidently felt that the Skylanders could do with a serious stomach among their ranks."

They changed Lightning Rod's bio... no mention of Spyro in that one. Original said he was getting bored with no competition Spyro's tales of heroism intrigued him and he followed Spyro into being a Skylander if I recall

^ Yeah he did, they added changes to Lightning Rod's backstory while some other Skylanders' remained the same but with more detail.
