Stewart Copeland, drummer of The Police and composer of the iconic music in the early Spyro games, is now 60 (July 16th, 2012)!

Oh wow, I didn't even notice it was Stewart Copeland's birthday! I'm a fan of his works. My favorites are what he composed for the first 4 Spyro games. Beautiful soundtracks.

I loved all of his work for the Spyro games. My overall favorite score he did was Enter the Dragonfly's!

Wow, really? I love his work! I still need to get the Spyro 2, 3, and 4 soundtracks on my MP3 though, haha. Happy birthday!

Also he shares the same last name as my dad

He's probably my third favorite composer who's worked with Insomniac. The first being Boris Salchow and the second being David Bergeaud. <.<

what music did they compose?


David Bergeaud was Insomniac's first composer who did Disruptor and was then brought back to do the Ratchet & Clank series through Quest For Booty as well as Resistance: Fall of Man.

Boris Salchow did Resistance 2, Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time, and Resistance 3. They're the only fully orchestrated Insomniac scores, and they're beautiful. Especially A Crack in Time, which includes jazz, techno, rock, and disco. <.<;
