I understand why some dont use facebook completely, but me personally dont like giving my name and address to a random petition website I've never heard off. That's all.

You actually don't need to put your address. Just chuck in fake emails and names and you're good to go.

IMPORTANT

How to sign this petition without giving away personal info

First & Last names: Easy to fake. Put anything you want. Username is fine.

email: Think of an easy, unused fake one. For example, secret@secret.com.au. email ain't such an issue anyway... The most you will get is probably spam, viruses are easy to avoid in emails...

Zip Code, Address, Country: Enter "Secret" for Zip and Address. No filter for numberless entries Anything you'd like for countries.

And viola!

first name: (your forum name)
last name: portalmaster
email: (your forum name)@darkspyro.net
address: skyland
city: homeworld
country: select the one you want
post code: four digits

press (sign) button, now your done....

also remember to type a message to bob for toy..


if you want your forum avatar you can go to the setting and upload, its pretty easy....

I emailed Walkers (Frito's UK arm), and they said that they have no plans for any Skylanders related promotions :-(

I was trying to spread the word of my petition for those without Facebook.
If you clicked on your topic, you'd expect a Facebook petition, not a different one.

I'm sure "there is people" that don't like to be spammed. That's not the point. A petition with nothing but false information, however, means ZERO.

Think of it this way - if all the names are made up crap, what's to stop one guy from signing the petition a million times using a bot/script?

Now, when Activision "sees" this petition (is someone printing it out and mailing it to them?), they'll see a bunch of fake names on it. Then, they'll have ZERO idea if these names are legitimately people interested in purchasing Sidekicks or if it's one guy with a script. If it's one guy with a script, then it's obvious there's not much of a demand for them and there's no point in bringing them out.

Hum what to do. One one hand I do want the sidekicks in places here like Canada and other parts of the world but on the other I know these type of petitions generally almost never work

Well, as long as there are real names on there, it might work.

Even if the petition is given any consideration, under those circumstances, it would merely be a petition of, say, hundreds not thousands and would have significantly less impact.
