She might. We don't know which of them is getting remodeled yet. I personally prefer Camo over Stealth Elf, but I can see why she would get remodeled instead of him.

I believe a life element is getting a legendary form and I am not sure if they are getting a remodel if they are not series two. I don't really know.

Yes a Life element most likely will be Legendary (Almost certain) but the legendaries will be selected from the remodelled series two figures or the new series two figures.

Flameslinger & Voodood, can anyone tell me where we've seen confirmation of those? Same goes for LightCore Pop Fizz and Chill?

At least we know now that the dog is definately fire. Also, is that Crusher poking in from the right.

I actually like the name chill, sounds nice and does match the character now that I see her.
I wouldn't be suprised if her catchphrase was 'Chill out'

yep, I've seen it a few days ago, I was going to post it, but didn't have a pic, so I thought everyone would be asking for one

and a really small section for tree rex at the end of the book.

That Prism Break is really...weird.

The figure we last saw at E3 doesn't really look like that, so I wonder if the LightCore figures will have even further changes either on the actual figure or in game (besides the glow-y thing they're supposed to do in game)

maybe he changes like that because of a wow pow power thing? (unless it has already been revealed what it was)

Yes!, is getting his crystal backpack. Too bad he couldn't get the Prismancer yellow treatment, but at least he matches one of the path's looks. Gets me excited about a remodel with thorns and meat tenderizers

A single pack series 2 figure Flameslinger is listed in the pile of new characters announced on german amazon. The name Chill came from this source as well. We know it is one of the regular new characters and common sense has associated it with the new lady water character.

Voodood was confirmed as having a series 2 release in an interview with a TFB rep.

As far as I can tell lightcore popfizz is just peoples best guess on the LC lineup we now know:
Magic-?
Tech- Drobot
Water-?
Undead-?
Fire- Eruptor
Life- Shroom Boom
Earth- Prism Break
Air- Jet-Vac

the common assumption is the unconfirmed ones are pop-fizz, chill and hex but these three are only educated guesses

Doesn't look like it, at least not quite yet. We'll have to see if any bloggers post about it when they get back to their rooms. Again, the article that I posted about just mentioned Skylanders were supposed to appear, but since it wasn't really super official, they could have easily not been there.

Activision was trying to push their new Marvel games (especially since if I was reading the articles right, Stan Lee was in attendance for the announcement) so they may have just stuck Giants on the backburner for a bit. Sounds crazy, but if they wanted to push another franchise, that would be how they'd do it.


I've never been to SDCC/NYCC so I don't know if there's only things on certain nights or what, but it's also possible the "games" people won't be there until tomorrow.

Looks like the boxes for the remodeled figures will have different pictures on them. Ugly Prism Break, machine gun Trigger Happy, Upgraded (?) Chop Chop, and more.

^ It's great finally seeing alternate art but I wish they would exert all that effort on new characters instead.

Also, anyone noticed both JET VAC and POP FIZZ have more than one picture of art? Both are LightCore, so could everyone getting two new pictures be LightCore as well?

Not to say that GeekDad doesn't have good information, but he still has that information on his blog that ALL Skylanders would be getting a remodel and that Adventure Pack items wouldn't work.

You have to remember that he's just another person, like us. There's only one source for news-an official listing or announcement. That's it.

That's not true at all, FGTV's ONLY source for that video was the Amazon.de leak. He got the info from the same place as us.

Also to add to the list of the things FGTV has told us about that turned out to be wrong:

Old figures will not level past 10 - Wrong.
Reposes won't work with SSA - Wrong.

In defence of Andy, he puts out all information as he understands it at that moment in time and definitely does his research. He's also well liked by Activision and has done a number of interviews with folks that work on Skylanders. That's not to say he doesn't get things wrong, just as we all do.

Oh I'm not saying he did anything wrong, as you said; we all make mistakes sometimes and when rumours are thrown around the community as fact it's hard not to make mistakes. Most of the things he got wrong were things that were previously thought correct by lots of people. Some of it may even have been true once but was later changed. I like his videos, they're good I'm just pointing out to people here that he is not an infallible source especially when he is using the same sources we are using.

It's the best available data we have now but just because it's on FGTV doesn't mean it's any more confirmed than it was when we just got the data straight from amazon.de

I'm taking that with a huge grain of salt. One, there isn't much elsewhere to confirm this story. Two, they call Light Core a Skylander, so they're clearly not knowledgeable at all about the franchise.

Nah, it's legit. We had a thread about it a while back. Makes sense that Topps would decided to go and do Giants themed cards rather than ones for just Adventure.
