Hello I was just wondering how many Flocked Stump Smashs were going to be released. I read up and found it was around 7,300. Seems like in recent weeks it could be more since people have received them. Like the Blue Bash and Red Drill Sergeant they have more stock now. Does anyone have a number as to how many Stump Smashs are going to be circulated? Thanks

It's a special variant that they gave away for a Frito-Lay promotion earlier this year. You either had to buy a chip bag with a code card in it to enter, or call in to a 800 number to get it.



The name "Flocked" comes from the covering on it, giving Stumpy a very moss like exterior. It's essentially the same stuff you find on those jewelry boxes.

7,334 was the number of guaranteed winners in the Frito-Lay contest. Frito-Lay could have easily awarded additional winners. Also, they could have had some produced to give as prizes/gifts to employees and such. Finally, Activision may have had extra produced for employees of Activision/Toys for Bob.

So, to answer the OP's question - we don't know.

Thats just more to the puzzle. I always thought as a formality that Activision/Toys For Bob made extras for employees and such. I just dont know if they included that in how many are in circulation. I suppose they are if the employees decide to get rid of them

in the other topic, someone was keep track of how many Stumpys were received from frito-lay.
i believe that number was around 150.
now wasnt this board pretty much the only way to hear about the contest?
other then the facebook thing at the very end that is.
now even if you figure in everything, that number is still way to far away from 7000.
dos any one else suspect that there was no way 7000 were made?

Its entirely possible. Not everyone has received theirs from Frito-Lay yet so an accurate number may not be able to be obtained just yet. A lot of people on this forum has one. Plus what ever ones who are not. Seems like a lot but of you counted how many are out it well be below 7000. I guess itll be 7334 until all of them are given out

I got another in the mail. This is how it showed up! The top isn't even sealed and it's way out of alignment. They must be rushing to produce them and not worrying about packaging flaws. I intended to open him anyways. But thought I'd share the pic.

Yeah mine wasnt aligned either. It was still sealed though. When i saw the package i thought that they were just trying to get them done

Yeah, been rushing out ALL the Skylanders lately. I have tons of packs like that too. And I see lots of Skylanders very poorly painted.

Have you ever saw perfectly painted one? All the ones I have and saw have some sort of cosmetic flaw.

I understand its toooooo popular of a game My new Ignitor is just terrible. thin paint and its armor is uneven

The only good ones now are the Camos and Warnados and kind-of Wham-Shell. It's unfortunate. I hope they fix it in Giants or I may skip the console version entirely.

Yeah thats true my camo is fairly new and its pretty good and the Warnado paint job is pretty good. In fact the Camo/Ignitor/warnado 3 pack I have the Ignitor is the worst painted one.

Yeah, Ignitor's poorly painted overall. Even my original one is silver instead of blue in some spots and the paint scratches off really easily. I have to be really careful whenever I use my new one because I don't want to ruin that too. And all the newer Ignitor's I've seen in singles have some kind of unpainted, still-grey area.

I only added in the ones from that thread, that actually say something to the effect of "I got" or "I received". Sometimes it's hard, cause people speak about ones they previously got, etc. It's more of a guideline, than an exact number. Keep in mind some people just come here for info, and don't actually post stuff...plus a lot of us are still waiting for prizes to arrive. My mom called the prize line the other day, and they informed her they were wrapping up shipping out the prizes...so the numbers should be going up soon.

I wonder if the scalper prices will go up after the 10 weeks are over.
