Hey, all! For those of you who don't know me, my name is Trexroarr, well username lol. I am a huge Skylanders fan (as I know all of you are), and I have recently been thinking about creating my own Skylanders forum. Now I hope you all don't think that I'm just some n00b looking for attention. I have a lot of experience with creating and running my own video game forums. I got my start in the Zoo Tycoon online community, and I am currently running a sort of 'spin-off' forum called The Paleo Handbook (http://s4.zetaboards.com/The_Paleo_Handbook/index/), which is a forum where dinosaur and other prehistoric life fans can discuss anything and everything prehistoric.

So anyway, back to my idea for my Skylanders forum. It would contain the following (please note that this is a definite work-in-progress list):

- Seperate sections for each of the already exsisting Skylander video games (Spyro's Adventure, Giants, Universe, Cloud Patrol), as well as all future titles.

- The latest up-to-date news on everything Skylanders.

- A section dedicated to everything else Skylanders.

- Forum games and contests for Skylander themed digital prizes (such as avatars and signiture banners) (unfortunately I can't exactly afford to do real life physical prizes, so, sorry about that lol).

- Fan collection spotlight section. Fans will be able to post their collections for the rest of the forum to see and once a month, one fan will be selected for our monthly fan spotlight. Their collection will be featured in a special place for the entire month, they will recieve a special avatar and/or signiture banner, and a unique member title.

- Fan creation sections. Here, fans can post anything Skylander-themed which they have created. Everything from a drawing to their own TCG (which I know a few of you have already made).

- This last one is a BIG MAYBE. Buying/Selling/Trading areas. I am a member of The Dinosaur Toy Forum (http://www.dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php), which is a place where fans of dinosaur toys can talk about the newest toys, prehistoric news, and even buy, sell, and trade toys. I have traded toys before and was very successful. The forum does NOT take responsibility for lost toys/money etc., and I would be using that same policy. If I discover that someone is a definite scalper, they will be banned (just fyi). This idea is, like I said, still a BIG MAYBE.

The above are only a few of my many ideas.

I just wanted to share this idea with all of you, to see who might actually be interested in a forum like this. Now I want to make something very clear. This forum's intentions is NOT to steal members away from DarkSpyro or to compete with DarkSpyro. We all share a common interest. I'm not here to make enemies, of course.

So anyway, post here if you are interested in my idea and I'd be happy to hear any suggestions which you all may have.

PS: As you can tell by the examples which I gave, I love dinosaurs. Just wanna clear that up now lol.
