I am not fan of the you may not get the one you want sytem. A complete set of these may become a nightmare to compile.

Has anyone called the Q&A phone line yet for Sidekicks? Can I just send them $8 and fill out one form with a proof of purchase?

I'm with you sounds like a nightmare to me to even send out for this. I want a complete set and now I have to hunt for bags to even send in for them. This sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.

Got my first of two Flocked Stump Smash today.

Here's hoping the second comes today as well.

Frito Lay Sidekicks bags are already out in San Antonio, TX. Just came back from two HEB stores and they have the blue Classic Mix bags with the Sidekick promotion already on the shelves. Bought 8 bags. A set of 4 for me and another set for my son. I need to call the 866 number to find out more info on the 4 figures per household rules.

UPDATE: They must not be ready to take calls yet. Just tried the 866 number on the promotion cards. Got a recording that says this is a non-working number. Hopefully they will have the phone line up soon. I want to ask a few questions before I start sending off my card wins.

I need to find the bags after my final tonight. And I want more inf on this promotion. I want to get all 4 but idk if they will be that easy to get.

If you get a set of 4, does it say on the forms/card that you get to select which Sidekick to get? If each are coming in waves, doesn't that mean you only really get the first Sidekick out of the 4 Sidekicks, thus you're getting 8 of the first Sidekick (wave 1)?

I went to my local walmart for the bags and found "Save $5 on any select Twister games" instead.

Yea nothing here yet I'll keep checking.

The card in the bag has you rank order your choice of Sidekick from 1-4. It also states "Frito Lay cannot guarantee that you will get your choice". DluA in post # 893 provided pictures of the bags and the card inside. The only difference in the ones I bought were that they were the blue ones.

If the figures do come out in waves I don't see the point in them asking you to rank order your choices. That's another reason why I wanted to talk to them before I send off my wins. If they state you will get a certain wave character depending on when you send in your card then I'll send in only a couple at a time.

Finding the bags to win and sending off for the figures doesn't seem like it will be too difficult. I'm more worried about being limited to only 4 figures per household with the chance you will get multiples of the same character. The back of the chip bag encourages you to "collect all 4 sidekicks". If that's the case they need a decent system in place to ensure you get your first choice with each win (good luck).

If we get stuck with multiples we should set up some sort of trading system once all our wins come in (just a thought).

My buddy (in MN) received 5 FSS in the mail today!

Stopped at three stores and no luck with sidekick bags but I got home to discover three Flock Smashes sitting at my door

i got the first FSS of what should be many today. hopefully i will be getting more, but who knows. i used 3 different addresses just in case they limited it before we really knew the rules, but none have came to the other addresses yet.

Bluck. That's really stupid. Why not just put them in the bags randomly? No shipping, no worry, no problems.

I don't remember if it was a dream, or someone posted it or what but I remember something about "ranking" which one you wanted. Or choosing it like that.

Cool though that they're out. Would like some more info though.

Wow. Got a huge surprise today when flocked SS was in the mail box. I thought I had won a random one. Hilarious. My son is geeked. He never even knew there was a flocked SS.

I imagine it's to stop people from stealing them. This way they're making money on the chips & shipping.

I got a total of 3 FSS' in the mail today.....one for me, weirdo spelling of my name, one at my moms house, and one at my friends house. I have a total of 7 FSS received, between 3 people's addresses....and multiple names.

STILL NOTHING. NOT A SINGLE FLOCKED STUMP SMASH NOR A RANDOM ONE. I GIVE UP.
and i really think the "limit four per household" is a bull-$#!& idea. then again, i can always send it from my friends' houses...

Received my FSS yesterday as well. I live in Ohio. Going to check for new promotions today.

I just got to thinking. Why would there be 4 waves of chips, per the sales sheet, if the card allows you to choose on a scale of 1-4?

I figured the 4 waves, meant you had a 2 week window to get each figure?

The sales sheet was originally compiled in april so it could mean a simple issue of the sales strategy having been changed since then. It also appears that Frito does promotions for these type of bags on a regular basis. The waves could have been just an internal measurement for advertising to be able to recognize how long this promotion would be in effect.

Its also possible that TFB plans on supplying these figures in waves like they did for the Flock Smash promotion. Wouldn't it be awesome to send in 4 tickets requesting 4 different sidekicks the first week of the promotion and recieve 4 Whisper Elves.

When looking for the Sidekicks bags, make sure you look behind the first few bags in front. My Albertson's stock person was clearly doing his job correctly and put the new stock behind the old stock. I snagged 4 bags - 2 blue and 2 purple - this was in the Beaverton, OR area.

That's what I do. I look in the back, due to the same reasoning.

I am starting to think I will get jipped in my city... again. We didn't get Flocked Stump Smash bags at all, or that promo in general. Being a small market means the old stock of lots of stuff, doesn't fly off the shelves as fast.

I went looking at 5 stores today and notta. I talked to a Frito-Lay rep, who told me if old stock doesn't sell, stores won't order new stock, which means it's possible for them to miss out on promotions.

2 things:

1. +1 flock stump smash

2. Prattville Alabama's Wal Mart has the sidekick bags.....so I grabbed 4 of them

No dice for me today. Looked in various stores. Only promo I found was for the board games.

Found bags today! I bought one so I will be going back to get 3 more

Went to the Walmart near my house today and no bags yet, but I'm sure we'll get them in a week or so haha I'm not rushing this one too much.

Where are people finding these? Walmart?

When you find the promo bags, be sure to say what store (chain, etc.) and where (at least state).

Found the bags at Walmart San Diego, and at Food 4 Less San Diego (Kroger chain). Now just waiting for the phone line to work before I send them out

Went to walmart and grabbed the last two bags of the Skylanders promotion chip packs. Got the Purple bags, the other varieties were not promoting anything. So I got two thus far.

And it looks like you pick your prefrence though whether or not you get your first choice depends on availablily you also gotta send the UPC code with the 2 dollars and the mail in form thingy.

Oh and these were found in Defuniak Springs, Florida (Walmart).
Gonna wait for the phone line to be woring before I send off anything.

I'd love to know why they feel that 40 dollars to ship 4 small figures is a reasonable thing....wow.
Nope I'll just wait the 8-10 weeks for my mail ins...much cheaper, patience is something I'm good with when it comes to these sorta things.

I've received 2 out of 3 Flocked Stump Smashes so far. The address was exactly the same for each win.

I wonder if anyone is shill bidding in that auction, that price is insane!

I didn't think Trigger Snappy looked that cute, but he looks adorable next to Trigger Happy.

I found a bag...BUT IT HAD NO FREAKING FOURM.

So today I recieved my 1st Flocked stumpy and found the new Sidekicks promo bags, I only bought two because I didn't want 4 of the same kind, I know I have atleast two more Flocks coming in after calling frito lay, I should also be getting two more at diff addresses, Also I had asked them if I had more coming because I won more than twice, and they said they were still putting entries in so I'll call them monday and see if there is anything different

My fiancé got a flock stump smash and I still never revived any of mine yet.
