Anyone think we'll get a dark spyro repose? I mean he is a variant but he is a real character and he was the big face in the 3ds game so anyone?

It's probably unlikely. Normal Spyro is more likely to get a repose

So no, I don't think Dark Spyro is getting a repose. The odds are against him.

Well, Dark Spyro isn't much of a console exclusive anymore since his release in the UK..

That sir is incorrect,there are 32 skylanders,and 37 if you count legendaries and dark spyro.

That's what I said. I said 32 Skylanders not counting the variants which means Legendaries and Dark Spyro. I think the word "total" might have thrown you off, as that implies I'm counting everything.

But Dark Spyro and Legendary characters aren't variants - the game recognises them as different characters (even if they are just re-colours) a variant is a gold/silver/crystal ETC.

^Double Trouble could be getting a remodel. There are three remodelled skylanders from each type. One won't be remodelled.

A variant is something different from a standard, usually by only a slight difference - colour, for example. While Legendaries and Dark Spyro (I think) have a stats difference, they're only small.

And, yes, again, the variants are strictly aiming at collectors ans scalpers, so they can make money, which I dont think is fair..

I hope Dark Spyro gets a repose (even though it's unlikely). Every Internet store (eBay, Amazon, etc.) has him for around $40. And he's one of my favorite Skylanders...

I wouldn't count on it simply because eight regulars aren't.

i wouldn't be surprised to see a exclusive dark spyro repose somewhere down the line. Spyro always sells, and activision wants money, they would be missing out if they didn't.

i would think so. Like i said, Spyro will always sell. If they were smart they would make several new spyro variants.

Nope. No remodel, unless they announce something, and they haven't as of yet. Highly doubt they ARE, anyways

The things just show up in shops, they don't tell us anything. It was the fans who discovered Dark Spyro singles in Singapore, the fans that been finding variants months before they were announced officially and the fans that sniffed out the information on the Frito-Lays promos.

This is a part of this both this and the Pokemon franchise I don't like. As the product is targeted to children, the company "big wigs" don't see a point in communicating with the fans. It wouldn't be difficult for Acti/TFB to have a Facebook/Twitter/eMagazine where they could "touch base" with fans. It would also help them figure out their market better and learn what fans would actually buy, rather than blindly pushing out products.

That's just my idea anyway

^ Skylanders reales a good amount of info through their facebook... it is usually on here first but they do eventually get around to sharing.
