Was the first video game you played a Spyro game? For me it was; the first video game I played was Spyro 2 but I didn't like it too much.

I think Spyro 1 was the first video-game I played, back when I was four. Use to play it all the time with my older brother and sister, and we loved it.

Spyro 2: Gateway to Glimmer in...when I was 7.

The first Spyro game I ever played was Year of the Dragon.

Funnily enough, Spyro wasn't the first video game I had ever played, the first I ever played was Tomb Raider 1 with my Dad, but really it was my Dad that got me into video games, as he played it first, while I used to watch, I remember him completing it, and I asked to play it shortly afterwards, and I remember as I used to play it, my Dad just used to guide me now and then, and tell me what to do, and what was going to happen next, as he knew it used to scare me, I was really young at the time.

As shameful as this is... my first Spyro game I *played* was Dawn of the Dragon.=/
...though the first Spyro game I *experienced* was the very first one, when I watched my friend play it at her house once... when we were kids. I'm.. not sure if I actually played it a little bit there, though. I could have...

Still, my answer is half way so; Spyro the Dragon WAS probably *one* of the first games I've *experienced*.

I don't think anyone's paying close attention to the topic, unless all these people on here played a Spyro game first before anything else. If you look closly at the topic, it's saying "Was your first game, a Spyro game?" Not "Which Spyro game did you play first" There is a difference, lol.

Yep. Spyro the Dragon was the first game I played. I played it on our new PS2 when I was five with my brother. :3

Nope, none of the Spyro games were my first video game.

That honour goes to Super Mario 64. To my family, it is regarded as the MOST memorable game but also, THE most hardest game ever since all the Power Stars still haven't been collected yet. Heck, the whole family and I knew the theme of Peach's Castle off by heart. Actually, if it weren't for this game, I wouldn't be playing any video games at all, let alone Spyro games.

Anyway, my first Playstation Game was Spyro 2 xD

well...if you don't count arcade games like Centipede and Joust, spyro the dragon was my first.
