I never heard of elemental gates being restricted to only series 2 toys, where did this rumor start?

It should be the same as the first game, but with the addition of areas only a giant (not element-specific) can access.

Edit: Just watched the video by finding it through facebook. The newer skylanders seem to be more complex than older skylanders, especially pop fizz. In addition it seems that you'll need every element to complete the story as the guy needed to swap to cynder to get the key.

The starter pack comes with cynder,but the expansion pack dosen't,and if you have the original game,you already have normal sized skylanders

Well, if you bot the expansion pack, you would have played S:SA, meaning you at least had one from each element. Including Undead.

How? How would you have 1 of every element? No undead skylanders come with the game, or expantion pack! So you wouldnt be able to get trough unless you bought a undead, but I think cynder must come with the expantions pack.

There was a drop before the gate, so you don't need an undead skylanders to get the key

that is correct there was a line of coins going down the edge and ones at the bottom of the edge suggesting that you can just fall down it.

Hmm... I don't know why, but these videos lead me to believe that the 'Wow-Pow' abilities will be used by Y (360), triangle (PS3) and shaking the remote (Wii). Just leaving this out there for... Discussion. Maybe.

well must people who had the prevoios game ot a lot of people or had 1 of each element.

wow. this is awesome. i didn't know you had to go through an elemental gate at some points (they probably asume you have remolded cynder from the starter pack and if you got the game and tree rex they asume you have a lot of old people)


No, you didn't have to go through the elemental area at all. There was a drop, south to the entrance of the gate with a path of loot - just go down there instead of going through the elemental gate. I've seen it done in a previous video.
