as you can see, he isnt lighting up when hes on the portal, meaning he may not be one of the light up giants.

Looks to me like the portals they're sitting on in the cases are just dummy models. Meaning they just have lights in them for show. The large banner of him is also showing that those parts are "glowing", so they'll probably glow.

We'd be able to tell better if someone could get it over to the games, but I'd imagine they only have certain ones to show off for the games.

At first it doesn't, but if you zoom in, you can make out the other set of arms. Here's what it looks to me:



His right (our left) claws are out, with his left (our right) hands in a fist form. The pose makes him look like he's leaning forward, which makes it harder to see his other arms. But, the thing that cements it for me is the armor, which is identical to the armor Slam gets on the Blizzard Brawler path. And to me it looks like the remodels are in the pose for a particular path.

It doesn't make sense for it to be anything else; Gill doesn't match, Zap doesn't match, and Wham doesn't match (body shape is wrong, arms don't match...the mace, etc). It also can't be a new character, because we can see the new Water character in the center, in the row with Bouncer. It looks like a fairy. So unless they've decided to do 2 Skylanders for each element, there's nothing it can be.

Who says it's a remodel? What if they're making two new waters and he is the second? Honestly I don't believe that that is a Slam Bam. The face nor the body look like Slam Bam. Ok maybe in the slightest way, but not enough to be a legendary Slam.
EDIT: If you look, he is scaly and bumpy. Last I checked, Slam Bam was scaly nor bumpy.
EDIT 2: If that were Legendary Slam Bam, the colors would be white to gold blue to blue. This one's legs are blue. Slam Bam legs were white. The colors don't add up.

lol I just hope Legendary Slam Bam is worth using....He sucks when compared to other melee....in my opinion anyway.

why would that be? there is no official "how activision changes the palette of a figure into a legendary" book, the color scheme is just fine, and its already proven in the picture that he has two sets of arms. we do not know if his face does not resemble slam bam, for the picture is not clear enough. but otherwise, i would say it would make the most sense if it WAS slam bam. if you still doubt it, what could it be then?

I don't recall there being official new that he has four arms besides fan speculation. And the color go off the legendaries. Most skylanders have two colors, primary and secondary. Legendaries' primary is blue and secondary is Gold. Slam Bam's are primary Blue, Secondary White. This means:
Primary = Primary (Blue = Blue)
Secondary = Secondary (Gold = White)
Take L-Spyro for example:
Primary = Primary (Purple = Blue)
Secondary = Secondary (Orange = Gold)
This new figure does not follow this simple code of the legendaries. It can not in any way be legendary slam bam.

It cannot be the new water giant becaus enter is a humanoid water Skylander behind bounce that is new.

I didn't even notice the slam-bam and ignitor. They look sweet. Also I see 3 whirlwinds so There is a repose light core and wait a minute....... Well if you look in the you can see a third whirlwind. So I dont know what the deal is. Sorry if thats already been posted before.

I count 3, but 2 are the same. The reposes would have an orange base, but the one on the left does not. The one on the right (that seems to be the LightCore one) you can't see, but we can assume so because it's a different pose. The third one in the back is just the same as the other one, just turned.

Strong reason to believe the Skylanders in that pic are not final.
