In this game, my favorite is Hunter. Or the Frature Hills fauns.

For this (and most) of the Spyro games, definitely Elora. I like the fauns in Fracture Hills and Magma Cones, too. And the satyrs. Hunter is funny and I like Moneybags for being a magnificent jerk. Also, the Professor.

Hm... Spyro, Moneybags, the Frozen Altars ducks, Handel and Greta, Ripto. I like most of the characters in the three first games a lot, so it's difficult to pick a few.

To be a bit crude, Moneybags is what would be considered a Magnificent Bastard: you want to hate him and he's very unlikeable, but he's so good at being unlikeable that you can't help but respect him and even like him for it.

I know what you mean. There is something that I like about Moneybags, I think he makes the game that bit more interesting.

That Fracture Hills faun who talked to you at the end of the level was pretty rude and I hated her when I was about seven, but now I know what the triangle button does and I found out she apologized smilie

I used to do that all of the time when I was younger. It's a nice little addition that Insomniac Games did, such a minor detail.

Hmm...favourite major character probably has to be Elora. Favourite random breed of creature in the levels has to be the Gemcutters of Glimmer. I think it's their voices, that or I'm more fond of marsupials than I realise.
