Aretis thought for a moment. "Oh, I asked you since I don't have any ideas really..." He grinned.

OOC: Yeah(I know.... I'm cool(jk)), thanks.

"Well seeing as everyone is up, and the moon still seems to settle, I'd say we are up a whole three hours early than usual." Lucien stood and shook himself a little before stretching, "And yes, you are." he smiled waling away, toward the water.

Skyer laughed to himself. Standing up from his resting place, "Ahhh, the night time, bright stars and dim lit areas. good time for a hunt." his stomach churned a bit, "I didn't eat much yesterday. Want to come with?" he raised a paw ready to head off.

Casia stuck her tongue out at Lucien (further proving her immaturity), then turned to Skyer. "I'd love to come with!" she said with a small smile. "I've never hunted before though, don't say I didn't warn you!"

Ria laughed and took to the air for a moment before cannonball-ing after Amber, giggling the whole way down.

Amber: ahhh! *swims away* dont hit me!

"I won't!" Ria laughed, spiralling through the water away from Amber.

Amber: *swims back over to Ria* Nice!

"Well hunting has two rules: be quiet and low; and aim for the target's neck. Nothing too hard is it?" he began walking off toward the mountains.

Lucien just laughed to himself again and turned at the sound of a large splash. Walking over to the river bank he found Ria and Amber playing in the clear liquid, minus the strured dirt from their movements.

"Doesn't sound too difficult..." Casia murmured, following Skyer to the mountains.

Ria surfaced and squirted a bit of water from her mouth, grinning up at Lucien.

Amber: you should join us!

"Yeah Lucien, come for a swim! It's fun!" Ria laughed, diving under again.

Amber: *thinks about Logan* hum

"I was just about to suggest it myself." Lucien stepped into the water. Slowly submerging, he floated around a bit before chasing Ria.

Skyer taken a regular route toward the large hills, "Well, we have two things to look for, there are deer and then there are the nearly flightless birds, the chicken, small but very good if prepared right." he gave the options, "Oh, but watch for bears too, they can be dangerous if you are near their young, and I'd hate to have to fight one."

Ria giggled underwater, letting a few bubbles go from her mouth. She quickly swam through the water in zig zags and squiggles to avoid Luciens chase.

Casia listened with wide eyes. "I almost got killed by a bear once. I was just a little hatchling, but I remember clear as day. M'dad saved me though, so I'm okay."

"Well any experience is good experience." Skyer said before slowing down to smell the air, "Well there is a rabbit, or small animal of some kind near by," he whispered. He walked over to a tree to pear around it, "just as I thought," he whispered again turning to her, "It's a fox, not the most satisfying. Let's keep going." he continued to walk past the tree at a 90 degree angle away from the fox.

Lucien looked back to see Amber wasn't enjoying herself like Ria. He surfaced to wait for Ria, but still swam in her direction.

Casia tilted her head, gazing at the fox for a moment. She then shrugged and followed Skyer silently through the trees.

Ria twirled around, her giggling fading as she also noticed Ambers detachment. She too swam over to Amber. "Hey, what's up?" she asked gently.

Aretis took a nap.

Skyer sniffed the air again, this time lowering his head. Picking up his speed, but kept low. He came to another stop just at the top of a hill. Crawling to peek over the top, he took a deep breath, "There." he whispered, "It's a doe, and mature, why is she alone?" he backed up

Casia trotted silently behind Skyer, tilting her head at the doe. "Are you sure she doesn't have little deer babies somewhere?" she whispered back.

"I don't think so, she looks a bit young, but mature at that." he crawled back up to peek over again. The female deer walked around some, but grazed mostly, "There isn't any male scent on her either, I guess she's safe to eat then." he backed up once more, "Alright, I'm about to show you the best way to get a deer, whether it be male or female, goat or lamb." He said before looking around at the tree tops.

Lucien drifted with the current back toward the girls.

"O-okay..." Casia said uncertainly. Her eyes wandered to the deer, wondering if it was ready to die at their expense.

Then he woke and frowned. "I'm hungry. I'll be back." He yawned and then groggily flew off.

Skyer took one last look at the deer before jumping up with claws of shadow to eliminate the sound of his jump. Landing silently on a tree limb, he jumped forward to a tree in front of the deer, not landing on a limb, he hit the trunk, and pushed hard off of it, aiming at the deer, who had just looked up at him. Out reaching his paws to his sides, the deer jurked to it's right, but Skyer's claws of his left paw caught into it's neck as it began to run. Swinging around the deer from it's neck, it dropped as he landed on it's back.

Casia gasped and stared in shock. It had all happened so fast. Her knees trembled with terror for the deer.

Little did Aretis know, a shadowy figure had been watching him, and was snaking through the forest below him, following his flight in secret.

Amber: oh um im fine dont worry

Ria tilted her head. "You sure? You look a bit..gloomy."

Amber: Naw i'll be fine *she smiled to hid the pain*

"Alright... but remember that I'm always here to talk to." Ria said with a gentle smile.

Amber: I know thank you *she smiled again*

Amber couldn't hide her emotions from Lucien. Her energy fluxed in a lie, but he decided it was best to let her deal with it herself. Lucien swam over, letting his regular vision return, "So," he smiled like he had an evilish plan, "Where were we?" he kidded.

Skyer held the deer down as it shook weakly, until it stopped. Puling his claws out from under it's neck, which dripped a few drops of the creatures blood. "Rest peacefully." he said quietly.

Amber: *sighed* swimming

Aretis flew along humming a little tune to himself. All he was looking for was a nice plump piece of prey for lunch. Not really expecting anything.

ooc: I seriously need to do something...

A high pitched screech sounded from directly below Aretis. A two headed dragonic creature burst from the trees and shot straight up at him, both heads baring their teeth as shadows clouded around its body.

ooc: Yeah...I didn't really...*sweatdrop* Btw, did anyone go after the Orb of All?

Aretis snapped to attention barrel-rolling out of the way instinctively as he saw the creature come up.

OOC: i don't think anyone did yet, i kinda forgot about the orb of all since fireball has disappeared from the RP :/

The double headed creature snarled at Aretis's evasion.

"We must has him, we must!" said the left head, sounding demonic, yet distinctively female.

"Indeed indeed! He was be great for our collections!" the right head said. It was also female, yet slightly less demonic, and more seductive in voice pitch.

Their eyes were now visible from their shadowy forms, glowing a blood red.

"Come with us dear precious..." they hissed together at Aretis, diving at him.

OOC: I haven't forgoten, I was just waiting for the story to move a bit further.

Skyer lifted up off the creature, "Alright. Now the decision is: if we want it fresh or cooked?"

Aretis growled. "You want me? Come at me then!" He roared, trying to stop their assault with blasts of light.

Casia shuddered, eyes wide and frozen on the deer. "The..the poor thing, I..." she stammered.

The dragonic creature went wide-eyed, and both heads tried to go in opposite directions, causing them to get struck with a blast in their shared chest. The two heads turned on each other, snarling and bickering among themselves.

"Dodging protocol is to the left!"

"No, that's evasion-attack!"

"Liar! You just don't want to admit that I'm right once again!"

"What do you mean AGAIN?! I alwa-"

The two stopped bickering and looked at Aretis, remembering that they were supposed to capture him. They quickly dodged the other shots heading at them, having been pushed back by the first blast. Their fangs glinted in the light.

Aretis might have slightly grinned but anyway, he flew up, keeping the barrage on them, his claws extending and further vamped up with the little extra metal he always carried around now.

The heads snapped their jaws at him as he flew up, missing by just a bit.

"He likes magic does he?"

"We'll give him magic!"

The two heads suddenly became one, blasting out a thick cloud of Shadow up at Aretis.

Aretis gasped but it was too late to stop. He burst into the cloud full speed, swinging his claws wildly hoping to catch something.

The dragonic creature flew backwards to keep a trail of shadow blasting out. It saw Aretis's claws flash in the darkness. It skittishly flittered backwards, getting caught in the thigh by his claws.
